FEW WR TRAINS AFFECTED DUE TO BLOCK AT SAYAN YARD IN SURAT - VADODARA SECTION In connection with the ongoing work to increase speed of New Delhi - Mumbai route to 160 kmph, the work of laying of transition system using Geo cell & blanketing materials on the approaches and other related work will be undertaken at Bridge No. 471 at Sayan yard in Surat - Vadodara section. To carry out this work, a block of 4.30 hrs will be undertaken on UP line from 13.00 hrs, on Sunday, 18th June, 2023 and hence few Western Railway trains will be cancelled, partially cancelled, regulated and rescheduled. Regulation of Trains: 1.Train No. 19020 Haridwar – Bandra Terminus Express of 17th June, 2023 will be regulated by 50 minutes Rescheduled Trains: 1.Train No. 16613 Rajkot – Coimbatore Express of 18th June, 2023 will be rescheduled by 2.45 hrs Ex Rajkot station. 2.Train No. 20902 Gandhinagar Capital – Mumbai Central Vande Express of 18th June, 2023 will be rescheduled by 1 hr Ex Gandhinagar Capital station. WR’s JUMBO BLOCK BETWEEN To carry out maintenance work of tracks, signalling and overhead equipment, a Jumbo Block of five hours will be taken on UP and DOWN slow lines between Andheri and Goregaon stations from 10.35 hrs to 15.35 hrs on Sunday, 18th June, 2023. According to a press release issued by Shri Sumit Thakur – Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, during the block period, all UP & DOWN slow line services will be operated on Fast lines between Andheri and Goregaon stations. Hence, these trains will not avail halt at Ram Mandir station for want of platform. Some suburban trains will remain cancelled during the block and also some of the Borivali trains will be worked upto Goregaon. Detailed information to this effect is available with concerned Station Masters.
