दकà¥à¤·à¤¿à¤£à¤ªà¥‚रà¥à¤µà¤°à¥‡à¤²à¤µà¥‡ SOUTH EASTERN RAILWAY पà¥à¤°à¥‡à¤¸à¤µà¤¿à¤œà¥à¤žà¤ªà¥à¤¤à¤¿ PRESS RELEASE CONTINUATION OF RANCHI-SASARAM FESTIVAL SPECIAL WITH REVISED TIMINGS UPTO DECEMBER, 2020 Kolkata, 6th December, 2020: With a view to cater to the rush of passengers, South Eastern Railway has decided to continue the running of 08635/08634 Ranchi-Sasaram-Ranchi Festival Special with revised timings upto December 2020. 08635 Ranchi-Sasaram Festival Special will leave Ranchi at 17.00 hrs daily (except Saturday) from 08.12.2020 to 30.12.2020 and will reach Sasaram at 01.00 hrs, the next day. In the return direction, 08634 Sasaram-Ranchi Festival Special will leave Sasaram at 03.40 hrs daily (except Sunday) from 09.12.2020 to 31.12.2020 and will reach Ranchi at 10.15 hrs, the same day. The Special train will stop at Piska, Lohardaga, Tori, Daltangang, Garwa Road, Japla and Dehri on Sone between Ranchi and Sasaram. ........ 2

For SER’s infrastructural development and ongoing projects & works, a gross amount of Rs.5401 crores including Extra Budgetary Resources (EBR) has been allotted in the Budget of 2020-21. In the major Plan Head, the following amount has been allotted for the financial year 2020-21 through budget grant: ØFor the Doubling Projects an amount of Rs.993.00 crores has been granted ØFor Level Crossings related to road safety an amount ofRs.42.86 crores has been granted ØFor Road Over Bridges & Road Under Bridges an amount of Rs.248.59 crores has been granted ØFor Track Renewal works an amount of Rs.840 crores has been granted ØFor Bridge Works an amount of Rs.33 crores has been granted ØFor Passenger Amenities an amount of Rs.151.83 crores has been granted ØFor Staff Welfare an amount of Rs.39.29 crores has been granted Apart from the above, following New Works have been sanctioned for better connectivity and smooth operations in SER jurisdiction along with other ongoing developmental works.
