Kolkata, April 27, 2023: To facilitate the examinees of the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE), one special train will run between Patna & Howrah. 03252 Patna-Howrah Examination Special will leave Patna at 14:00 Hrs. on 29.04.2023 to reach Howrah at 23:45 Hrs. on the same day and 03251 Howrah-Patna Examination Special will leave Howrah at 23:00 Hrs. on 30.04.2023 to reach Patna at 10:00 Hrs. on the next day. The train will stop at Bakhtiyarpur, Mokama, Luckeesarai, Kiul, Jhajha, Jasidih, Madhupur, Chittaranjan, Asansol, Durgapur, Barddhaman & Bandel stations in both directions enroute. The special train will have General second class, Sleeper class & Air-conditioned accommodation. Booking of tickets for 03251 Howrah-Patna examination special is available through PRS & Internet Special charge in addition to normal fare will be realized. Concessional booking will not be allowed. Tatkal quota will not be available. 2

Shri K. Arul Jothi took charge as Inspector General cum Principal Chief Security Commissioner (IG-cum-PCSC) of Northeast Frontier Railway on 24th March, 2023. He is an officer from the 1995 batch of Civil Services Exam. As IG-cum-PCSC he will be the security custodian of all Railway assets, structures including track and fixtures, rolling stock, signalling gears and Railway buildings and establishments like Station premises, Booking Offices, Administrative Head Quarters etc. within the jurisdiction of N. F. Railway i.e. all north-eastern states including Sikkim and parts of West Bengal and Bihar. Shri Jothi has wide experience of working in field over many Zonal Railways. He has worked in many sensitive areas such as Mughal Sarai, Danapur, Malda, Sealdah and Secunderabad. Earlier in the year 2017-2019 he was posted as Deputy Inspector General cum Chief Security Commissioner of N. F. Railway.
