As a part of the celebration of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, Railway Protection Force, Eastern Railway organizing 75 days long series of events like Cleanliness Drive, Jal Seva, Plantation, Honoring Freedom Fighters, Run for Unity, Motor Cycle Rally etc. on 31.07.2022 as a part of this celebration mobile video wall has been displayed at Malda railway station to showcase the history and the achievements of RPF. Officers staff of RPF Eastern Railway also conducted Cleanliness drive at Baruipara, Dum Dum, Andal (Open Line), Labpur, Singur, Memari, Belur station and Plantation of Saplings have been done at Barakar, Diara, Swadinpur, Guskara, Barrackpore, Halishahar, Jangipur and Barharwa stations. on 01.08.2022 as a part of this celebration mobile video wall has been displayed at Panagarh, Mankar, Durgapur, Rajbhandh & Wariya railway station of Asansol division to showcase the history and the achievements of RPF. Moreover, officers of Asansol division honored the family member of India’s Freedom Fighters Late Rajeshwar Chakraborty and Late Ajit Mohan Guha. Officers staff of RPF Eastern Railway also conducted Cleanliness drive at Howrah, Begampur, Barrackpore, Siuri railway station and Plantation of Saplings have been done at Campus of MDSTI/Kanchrapara, Cossipur, Budge Budge, Kirnahar, Konnagar, Karnosubarno, Begampur, Balgona, Khana, Sitarampur, Sahebganj, Barharwa railway station to keep the Railway station and station area clean and green. Railway Protection Force, Eastern Railway also organized Run for Unity at Ambika Kalna, Bangaon and Jal Seva programme at different major railway stations for local people and passengers. 2

RPF/ER ARRESTED FOUR TOUTS WITH RECOVERY OF E-TICKETS UNDER OPERATION UPALABDH Kolkata, March 19 2022 1.On 14.03.2022, acting on reliable sources under ‘Operation Upalabdh’ officers & staff of RPF Eastern Railway has conducted search/drive against unauthorized activity of procuring & supplying of Railway e-tickets against IRCTC agents through Personal User Id’s and arrested four persons with recovery of 8 e-tickets valued ₹27,406/-, 40 railway old e-tickets valued ₹65,548/- & other incrementing articles from their possession over the jurisdiction of Eastern Railway. 2.On 14.03.2022, officers & staff of RPF Main Post/Sealdah has rescued a minor boy while he was found roaming aimlessly at Sealdah Railway Station. He was separated from his mother during traveling & was handed over to Child Line, Sealdah under due documentation for further course of action. 3.On 14.03.2022, acting on information through surveillance of CCTV footage, officers & staff of RPF North Post/Howrah has rescued a teenage boy while he was roaming aimlessly & weeping at Howrah Railway Station. He was separated from his mother at Howrah Railway Station and was handed over to Child Line, Howrah under due documentation for further course of action. 4.On 14.03.2022, officers & staff of RPF Post/Panagarh has rescued an infant boy aged about 3 years while he was found weeping & moving aimlessly at Panagarh Railway Station and was handed over to Child line, Asansol after due documentation. 5.On 14.03.2022, officers & staff of RPF Post/Bhagalpur has rescued an injured unknown male person aged about 45 years lying at Hansdiha Railway Station. He was fallen down in sequence of boarding 03443 UP Hansdiha - Bhagalpur Passenger & sustained injury. Necessary assistance was rendered & he was shifted to Sadar Hospital, Sariyahat for treatment. 6.On 14.03.2022, officers & staff of RPF Post/Bhagalpur has recovered 2 unclaimed bags containing 59 bottles of country made liquor valued ₹5020/- from the premises of Bhagalpur Railway Station. These were handed over to Excise Department/Bhagalpur for further course of action.
