In view Line Block/Power Block for facilitating engineering works in Dr MGR Chennai Central – Arakkonam Section for Reconstruction of Bridge No. 9R at KM 01/30-34 between Dr MGR Chennai Central and Basin Bridge in Chennai Division, the following changes are made in the pattern of train services is advised upto the 10^th April, 2023

ØTrain No.12511 Gorakhpur – Kochuveli Express Rapti Sagar Express leaving Gorakhpur at 06.35 hrs o­n 31^st March, 02^nd, 06^th, 07^th & 09^th April 2023 will be diverted to run via Perambur [(23.25(Arr)/23.30 (Dep)] skipping stoppage at Dr MGR Chennai Central

ØTrain No. 13351 Dhanbad – Alappuzha Express leaving Dhanbad at 11.35 hrs o­n 31^st March, 01^st, 02^nd, 03^rd, 04^th, 05^th, 06^th, 07^th, 08^th, 09^th and 10^th April 2023 will be diverted to run via Perambur [(23.35(Arr)/23.40(Dep)] skipping stoppage at Dr MGR Chennai Central

ØTrain No. 22646 Kochuveli – Indore Superfast Express leaving Kochuveli at 06.35 hrs o­n 01^st April, 2023 will be diverted to run via Chennai Beach skipping stoppage at Dr MGR Chennai Central. Additional stoppages will be provided at Perambur [22.40(Arr)/22.42(Dep)] and Chennai Beach (23.35(Dep)) for the convenience of passengers

ØTrain No. 22646 Kochuveli – Indore Superfast Express leaving Kochuveli at 06.35 hrs o­n 08^th April, 2023 will be diverted to run via Perambur [(23.15(Arr)/23.25(Dep)] skipping stoppage at Dr MGR Chennai Central

ØTrain No. 22647 Korba – Kochuveli Superfast Express leaving Korba at 19.40 hrs o­n 01^st and 08^th April, 2023 will be diverted to run via Chennai Beach [23.15(Dep)] skipping stoppage at Dr MGR Chennai Central. An additional stoppage will be provided at Perambur [(23.25(Arr)/23.30 (Dep)] for the convenience of passengers

ØTrain No. 12512 Kochuveli – Gorakhpur Raptisagar Express leaving Kochuveli at 06.35 hrs o­n 02^nd and 04^thApril, 2023 will be diverted to run via Chennai Beach skipping stoppage at Dr MGR Chennai Central. ØTrain No. 22645 Indore – Kochuveli Weekly Express leaving Indore at 16.45 hrs o­n 03^rd & 10^th April, 2023 will be diverted to run via Perambur [(23.25(Arr)/23.30(Dep)] skipping stoppages at Dr MGR Chennai Central

ØTrain No. 22681 Mysuru – Dr MGR Chennai Central weekly Express leaving Mysuru at 08.40 hrs o­n 05^th and 12^th April, 2023 will be diverted to run via Chennai Beach. The train will terminate at Chennai Beach instead of Dr MGR Chennai Central.

ØTrain No. 12522 Ernakulam - Barauni Rapti Sagar Express leaving Ernakulam Jn at 10.50 hrs o­n 07^th April, 2023 will be diverted at run via Perambur [(23.15(Arr)/23.25(Dep)] skipping Stoppages at Dr. MGR Chennai Central

ØTrain No. 12291Yesvantpur – Dr. MGR Chennai Central weekly Express leaving Yesvantpur at 22.45 hrs o­n 07^th April, 2023 will be diverted to run via Chennai Beach. The train will terminate at Chennai Beach instead of Dr MGR Chennai Central.

ØTrain No. 12692 Sri Sathya Sai Prashanthi Nilayam – Dr. MGR Chennai Central Weekly Superfast Express leaving Sathya Sai Prashanthi Nilayam at 18.40 hrs o­n 08^th April, 2023 will be diverted to run via Chennai Beach. The train will terminate at Chennai Beach instead of Dr MGR Chennai Central.

Change in Origination of Train Services:

ØTrain No. 12292 Dr MGR Chennai Central – Yesvantpur Express leaving Dr MGR Chennai Central at 23.30 hrs o­n 01^st, 08^th April, 2023 will commence service from Chennai Beach at 23.30 hrs instead of Dr MGR Chennai Central. The train will have an additional stoppage at Perambur [(23.50 (Arr)/23.55(Dep)]

ØTrain No. 22682 Dr MGR Chennai Central – Mysuru to commence journey from Chennai Beach at 23.30 hrs o­n 06^th April, 2023 instead of Dr MGR Chennai Central. Additional stoppage will be provided at Perambur [23.50(Arr)/23.55 (Dep)] for the convenience of passengers

ØTrain No.12691 Dr MGR Chennai Central – Sai P Nilayam Weekly Superfast Express leaving Dr MGR Chennai Central at 23.30 hrs o­n 07^thApril, 2023 will commence service from Chennai Beach at 23.30 hrs instead of Dr MGR Chennai Central. Additional stoppage will be provided at Perambur [(23.50 (Arr)/23.55(Dep)] for the convenience of passengers

IRCTC’s –Bharat Gaurav Train tour –“Punya Teerth Yathirai”

IRCTC/South Zone has launched an exclusive Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train, for the tourists which consists of 04- Three Tier AC coaches, 07- Sleeper Coaches, 01- pantry car, 02- power car with a total of 14 coaches. In the maiden run of Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train, IRCTC, South Zone/Chennai had launched a tour in the name of –“Punya Teerth Yathirai”, which is detailed below.
