Shri Gajanan Mallya, General Manager, South Central Railway conducted a detailed inspection of Gadchandur – Pandhar Pavani – Wihirgaon – Wirur – Sirpur Kaghaznagar – Asifabad – Bellampalli – Manchiryal sections of Secunderabad Division today i.e., 07th September, 2021 to overview the freight loading facilities, passenger amenities along with further improvement plans. He was accompanied by Shri A.K Gupta, Divisional Railway Manager, Secunderabad Division, Principal Head of the Departments and other senior officials. The General Manager commenced the inspection at Gadchandur Railway station. He examined the passenger amenities at the station and reviewed the facilities available at the goods shed. He also interacted with representatives of cement industry at Gadchandur and discussed on further plans for improvement of freight loading. The General Manager proceeded on to inspect Pandharpavani, Wihirgaon and Wirur Railway stations. At these stations, he examined the available passenger amenities and discussed about the further developmental plans with the officials. He also inspected the progress of on-going triple line works in Wihirgaon – Wirur section and instructed the officials to expedite the works. The General Manager also inspected the Sirpur Kaghaznagar Railway station. He examined the passenger amenities available at the station. He inaugurated the reserved lounge at Sirpur Kaghaznagar station and interacted with the customers. He also inspected the Asifabad Railway station and along with the freight loading siding. Later, the General Manager visited Bellampalli Railway station, where he also took stock about the freight maintenance activity being done at the station. He proceeded on to inspect the entire station premises including station lobby, running room and health unit. He also inspected the facilities at the Railway quarters and met the freight customers. Further, He also inspected the Manchiryal Railway station, goods shed and discussed on further developmental plans with the officials. During the course of inspection at Manchiryal station, Shri N. Diwakar Rao, Hon’ble MLA, met General Manager, SCR and discussed on Rail developmental plans pertaining to Manchiryal. The General Manager also received representations from several public representatives regarding station developmental plans.
