SOUTH EASTERN RAILWAY प्रेसविज्ञप्ति PRESS RELEASE 24 STATIONS ARE COVERED WITH“ONE STATION onE PRODUCT” OUTLETS IN JHARKHAND TO PROVIDE A MARKET FOR LOCAL/INDIGENOUS PRODUCTS Kolkata, 16th May, 2023: Ministry of Railways has launched ‘One Station one Product’ (OSOP) scheme over Indian Railways with objectives to promote ‘Vocal for Local’ vision of the Government of India, provide a market for local/indigenous products and create additional income opportunities for the marginalized sections of the society. Under the scheme, OSOP outlets at railway stations are allotted for showcasing, selling and giving high visibility to indigenous/local products. The pilot of the scheme was started on 25.03.2022 and as on 01.05.2023, altogether 728 stations are covered with 785 OSOP outlets in 21 States and 3 Union Territories across the country. In the State of Jharkhand, 25 outlets of ‘One Station one Product’ at 24 stations have been started. For uniformity, these OSOP stalls are designed through National Design Institute. Cumulative Direct Beneficiaries from March 2022 till 01.05.2023 is 25,109. ‘One Station one Product’ are specific to that place and include artefacts made by indigenous tribes, handlooms by local weavers, handicrafts like world famous wood carving, tribal jwellery, spices tea, coffee and other processed/semi processed food items/products indigenously grown in the area. In order to clear rush of passengers during Ganga Pushkaram, South Central Railway will run 18 special trains between Secunderabad – Raxaul; Tirupati – Danapur and Guntur – Banaras as detailed below: -
1.Train No. 07007/07008 Secunderabad – Raxaul – Secunderabad Special Trains:
These special trains will stop at Bolarum, Medchal, Akanapet, Kamareddi, Nizamabad, Basar, Mudkhed, Nanded, Purna, Basmat, Hingoli Deccan, Washim, Akola, Bhusawal, Khandwa Jn, Itarsi Jn, Pipariya, Jabalpur, Katni, Satna, Manikpur, Prayagraj Chheoki Jn, Pt. DD Upadhyaya, Buxar, Patliputra, Hajipur, Muzaffarppur and Sitamarhi Jn in both the directions. These special trains consist of AC II Tier, AC III Tier, AC 2 Tier cum AC 3 Tier, Sleeper and General Second-Class coaches. 2.Train No. 07419/07420 Tirupati – Danapur – Tirupati Special Trains:
These special trains will stop at Renigunta, Gudur, Nellore, ongole, Chirala, Tenali, Khammam, Warangal, Peddapalli, Ramagundam, Bellampalli, Sirpur Kaghaznagar, Nagpur, Itarsi, Pipariya, Jabalpur, Katni, Satna, Manikpur, Prayagraj Chheoki Jn, Pt. DD Upadhyaya, Buxar and Ara Jn stations in both the directions. These special trains consist of AC II Tier, AC III Tier, AC 2 Tier cum AC 3 Tier, Sleeper and General Second-Class coaches. 3.Train No. 07230/07229 Guntur – Banaras – Guntur Special Trains:
These special trains will stop at Vijayawada, Gudivada, Kaikalur, Bhimavaram Town, Tanuku, Nidadavolu, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, Tuni, Anakapalle, Duvvada, Kottavalasa, Vizianagaram, Rayagada, Muniguda, Titlagarh, Blangir, Bargarh Road, Sambalpur, Jharsuguda, Rourkela, Hatia, Ranchi, Muri, Barkakana, Lateher, Daltonganj, Garwaroad, Dehri on son, Sasaram, Bhabua Road, Pt. DD Upadhyaya and Varanasi stations in both the directions. These special trains consist of AC II Tier, AC III Tier, AC 3 Tier Economy and Sleeper Class coaches.
