24 STATIONS ARE COVERED WITH“ONE STATION o­nE PRODUCT” OUTLETS IN JHARKHAND TO PROVIDE A MARKET FOR LOCAL/INDIGENOUS PRODUCTS

Kolkata, 16^th May, 2023:

Ministry of Railways has launched ‘One Station o­ne Product’ (OSOP) scheme over Indian Railways with objectives to promote ‘Vocal for Local’ vision of the Government of India, provide a market for local/indigenous products and create additional income opportunities for the marginalized sections of the society. Under the scheme, OSOP outlets at railway stations are allotted for showcasing, selling and giving high visibility to indigenous/local products. The pilot of the scheme was started o­n 25.03.2022 and as o­n 01.05.2023, altogether 728 stations are covered with 785 OSOP outlets in 21 States and 3 Union Territories across the country. In the State of Jharkhand, 25 outlets of ‘One Station o­ne Product’ at 24 stations have been started. For uniformity, these OSOP stalls are designed through National Design Institute. Cumulative Direct Beneficiaries from March 2022 till 01.05.2023 is 25,109.

‘One Station o­ne Product’ are specific to that place and include artefacts made by indigenous tribes, handlooms by local weavers, handicrafts like world famous wood carving, tribal jwellery, spices tea, coffee and other processed/semi processed food items/products indigenously grown in the area.

A.18478 Rishikesh-Puri Kalinga Utkal Express from Rishikesh o­n 4^th April, 2023 will run o­n diverted route via Ib-Jharsuguda Road and Sambalpur.

B.12802 New Delhi-Puri Purusottam Express from New Delhi o­n 4^th April, 2023 will run o­n diverted route via Gomoh-Bhojudih-Adra-Midnapur and Hijli.

C.12819 Bhubaneswar-Anand Vihar Odisha Sampark Kranti Express from Bhubaneswar o­n 5^th April, 2023 will run o­n diverted route via Midnapur-Adra-Bhojudih-Gomoh.

D.18006 Jagadalpur-Howrah Samaleswari Express from Jagadalpur o­n 5^th April, 2023 will run via Tata-Chandil-Purulia-Bokaro Steel City-Adra-Midnapur.

E.18477 Puri-Rishikesha Kalinga Utkal Express from Puri o­n 5^th April, 2023 will run via Sambalpur-Jharsuguda Road and Ib.

F.22824 New Delhi-Bhubaneswar Rajdhani Express from New Delhi o­n 5^th April 2023 will run o­n diverted route via Gomoh-Bhojudih-Adra-Midnapur-Hijli.

C.22861 Howrah-Kantabanji Ispat Express from Howrah o­n 06.04.2023 will remain cancelled.

D.22823 Bhubaneswar-New Delhi Rajdhani Express from Howrah o­n 06.04.2023 will remain cancelled.

E.12872 Titilagarh-Howrah Ispat Express from Titilagarh o­n 06.04.2023 will remain cancelled.

F.18006 Jagadalpur-Howrah Samaleswari Express from Jagadalpur o­n 6^th April, 2023 will remain cancelled.

Partial Cancellation of Trains:

A.22606 Villupuram-Purulia Express from Villupuram o­n 5^th April, 2023 will run up to Adra and will remain cancelled from Adra to Purulia.

B.22605 Purulia-Villupuram Express from Purulia o­n 7^th April, 2023 will originate from Adra instead of Purulia. This will remain cancelled from Purulia to Adra.
