Kolkata, April 23, 2023 RPF of Eastern Railway continuing their endeavour to ensure security of passengers at Railway premises with special emphasis to protective shield for women and children. 1.Under Operation Nanhe Fariste, on 21.04.2023, officials of RPF Post/Bhagalpur rescued 02 minor boys from Bhagalpur Railway Station. on enquiry it is known that they fled from their homes due to family discord. The rescued boys were handed over to Child line/Bhagalpur under due documentation for further disposal. on the same day, officials of RPF Post/Bhagalpur have rescued a minor boy aged about 10 years from Bhagalpur Railway Station. He got separated from his relatives during journey and was handed over to Child Line/Bhagalpur under due documentation for further disposal. 2.Under Operation Upalabdh, Staff of RPF Post/Sitarampur on 20.04.2023, on 21.04.2023 raided a “On Line Centre†shop & recovered Laptop, Mobile Phone 05 valid Railway Reservation E-Tickets of valued ₹9341.15/-, 04 old Railway Reservation E-Tickets of valued ₹7727.25/- & other incriminating articles from his possession. The proprietor of the shop was involved in the surreptitious vending of spurious e-tickets by utilizing fraudulent identification of IRCTC. Subsequently, the aforementioned proprietor of the shop was taken into custody for further legal proceedings. 3.Under Operation Amanat, on 20.04.2023, acting on information of Control Room/Asansol through Rail Madad, officials of RPF Post/Panagarh retrieved a left behind bag containing personal belongings total valued at ₹3000/- from Down Jammutawi-Kolkata Express at Panagarh Railway Station. Subsequently, on 21.04.2023 the recovered bag was handed over to its owner after proper verification & documentation. 4. On 21.04.2023, officials of RPF/ER arrested 32 persons who were travelling in compartment reserved for Ladies and prosecuted under the provision of Section 162 of Railway Act. 2

SOUTH EASTERN RAILWAY पà¥à¤°à¥‡à¤¸à¤µà¤¿à¤œà¥à¤žà¤ªà¥à¤¤à¤¿ PRESS RELEASE SER TO RUN HOLI SPECIAL TRAIN BETWEEN SHALIMAR-PATNA-SHALIMAR Kolkata, 3st March, 2023: Keeping in view the extra rush of the passengers during Holi Festival, South Eastern Railway has decided to run Holi Special train between Shalimar-Patna-Shalimar leaving Shalimar on 06.03.2023 and leaving Patna on 07.03.2023 :- 08113 Shalimar-Patna Holi Special will leave Shalimar at 18.10 hrs on 06.03.2023 and will reach Patna at 11.30 hrs on 07.03.2023. In the return direction, 08114 Patna-Shalimar Holi Special will leave Patna at 12.30 hrs on 07.03.2023 and will arrive Shalimar at 04.00 hrs on 08.03.2023. The Special train will have stoppages at Santragachi, Kharagpur, Tatanagar, Chandil, Muri, Ramgarh Cant, Barkakana, Hazaribagh Town, Koderma, Gaya and Jehanabad Stations enroute.
