In order to clear extra rush, SCR to run ten summer special trains between Hyderabad and Cuttack as detailed below: -
Train No. 07165/07166 Hyderabad – Cuttack - Hyderabad: (10 services) These special trains will stop at Secunderabad, Nalgonda, Miryalaguda, Sattenapalli, Guntur, Vijayawada, Eluru, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, Annavaram, Anakapalli, Duvvada, Kottavalasa, Vizianagaram, Srikakulam Road, Palasa, Brahmapur, Khurda Road and Bhubaneswar stations in both the directions. All these special trains will consist of AC II Tier, AC III Tier, Sleeper Class and General Second Class Coaches. *JCO-Journey Commence oÂn 2

Shri Arun Kumar Jain, General Manager, South Central Railway held a review meeting oÂn Safety of train operations across the Zone today i.e., 22nd May, 2023 at Rail Nilayam, Secunderabad along with Principal Heads of Departments. Divisional Railway Managers (DRMs) of all the six divisions viz., Vijayawada, Guntakal, Guntur, Secunderabad, Hyderabad and Nanded Divisions participated through video conference. Shri Arun Kumar Jain held a detailed review oÂn safety of train operations over the zone. He reiterated that top priority should be given to safety and care should be taken to avoid shortcut methods which cause unsafe conditions in train movement. He laid emphasis oÂn night inspections and instructed the officers to carry out nighttime inspections in all sections oÂn regular basis. He advised to create a system to monitor compliance of safety requirements especially at goods sheds and sidings subsequent to the inspections. He also reviewed in detail about the management of Goods Sheds and enhancement of capacity. The General Manager advised the officials to ensure maintenance of tracks at private sidings and provide proper training to supervisors of private contractors to ensure compliance of worksite safety requirements at all times. Shri Arun Kumar Jain also reviewed the status of refresher courses to the safety category employees and quality of training being imparted.
