REGULATION OF TRAINS FOR BRIDGE MAINTENANCE WORK IN EAST CENTRAL RAILWAY Kolkata, May 10, 2022: For maintenance of bridge no 1 in between Samastipur & Muktapur stations, 06.00 hours (09:45 hrs. to 14.45 hrs.) Traffic & Power block has been planned on 14.05.2022 (Saturday) & 17.05.2022 (Tuesday). Consequently, 13043 Howrah - Raxaul Express (Journey Commencing on 13.05.2022) & 17005 Hyderabad Decan - Raxaul Express (Journey Commencing on 12.05.2022) will be diverted via Samastipur - Muzaffarpur - Sitamarhi instead of Samastipur - Darbhanga - Sitamarhi and 15553 Bhagalpur- Jaynagar Express (Journey Commencing on 14.05.2022) will be rescheduled by 120 minutes from Bhagalpur. Inconvenience caused to the passengers is deeply regretted. 2

- Reviews the progress of new Tiruchanur Railway Station Shri Gajanan Mallya, General Manager, South Central Railway undertook detailed inspection of Tirupati Railway station, Tiruchanur New Railway station and The Carriage Repair Shop, Tirupati today i.e., 24th February, 2021. He was accompanied by Shri J.K. Jain, Principal Chief Mechanical Engineer, SCR, Shri Alok Tiwari, Divisional Railway Manager, Guntakal Division, Shri S. Srinivas, Carriage Work Shop Manager, CRS, Tirupati and other Officials. The General Manager inspected Tirupati Railway station where he reviewed the progress of south side station entry and other infrastructure developmental works and discussed oÂÂn further station developmental plans with officials. He inaugurated a renovated Railway Protection Force VSS Control Room and inspected CCTV monitoring facility. He also inspected Tiruchanur Railway Station and reviewed the progress of oÂÂn-going infrastructural development works. Earlier, the General Manager carried out detailed inspection of Carriage Repair Workshop, Tirupati. He inaugurated 40 KWp Solar Power Plant; Dynamic Wheel Balancing Machine; Hybrid Model of constructed Wetlands (Capacity-20 KLD) and newly constructed MEMU and LHB under gear maintenance facility shed. During the day long inspection, he inspected the MEMU Power Car Components Overhauling section, RMPU overhauling section. He thoroughly reviewed the master plan oÂÂn future construction works. The General Manager inspected Coaches in Outgoing shop, Bio-Toilets overhauling section. He inspected Working of PCMM oÂÂn surface table and future layout of FIAT Bogie Overhauling facilities and Corrosion Shop. He also inspected safety equipment available at workshop and interacted with workshop employees and enquired about the safety precautions taken by them. Later, he interacted with Trade Union representatives and held a performance review meeting with officials and discussed oÂÂn further developmental plans. The General Manager appreciated the team of officials and staff for the excellent work done in improving productivity, quality, over all housekeeping, efforts to adopt changes with technological up-gradation initiatives to enhance passenger safety. He inspected various facilities available Railway Hospital, Carriage Repair Shop, Tirupati and discussed with Doctors oÂÂn carrying out more improvements.
