Shri Arun Kumar Jain, General Manager (In-charge), SCR undertook a comprehensive inspection of o­ngoing infrastructural developmental works between Guntakal – Nalwar Section of Guntakal Division today i.e., 28^th April, 2022. He was accompanied by
Shri K. Venkatramana Reddy, Divisional Railway Manager, Guntakal Division and Senior Officials from Headquarters and Division.

Shri Arun Kumar Jain conducted Rear Window Inspection commencing from Guntakal to Adoni and later upto Nalwar section to check track maintenance and safety aspects. At Adoni Railway Station the General Manager inspected various passenger amenities, food stalls, circulating area and had a discussion with officials o­n further development of facilities. Later, he visited the goods shed at Adoni, wherein he examined the freight loading facilities.

The General Manager proceeded o­nto Raichur, where he examined loading facilities at Goods Shed, facilities available for Hamalis rest room etc., he inspected and reviewed various amenities including ticket booking counters, station masters office and circulating area at Raichur railway station. During the course of inspection passenger association members and employees trade union association members met General Manager, SCR during the inspection of Raichur railway station.

Shri Arun Kumar Jain inspected Yermaras railway station and held meeting with representatives of Karnataka Power Corporation Limited. He also inspected Goods Sheds and various passenger amenities at Krishna Railway station and discussed with officials o­n further improvements to Goods Sheds and loading facilities. o­n conclusion, the General Manager inspected the passenger amenities provided at Yadgir railway station and also inspected Goods Sheds and enquired with the officials about the loading facilities provided.

I.SPEEDING UP AND REVISION IN TIMINGS OF TRAINS

South Western Railway has decided to speed up and revise the timings of the following trains as detailed below:- 

1.Train No. 07348 Chitradurg – SSS Hubballi Passenger Special with effect commencing journey from Chitradurga from 10.12.2021:-

1.   Train No. 07367 Arsikere – SSS Hubballi Passenger Special with effect commencing journey from Arsikere from 10.12.2021:-

Consequent upon speeding up of above trains the timings of Train No. 17326 Mysuru – Belagavi Vishvamanava Express and Train No. 07368 SSS Hubballi – Arsikere Passenger Specialare revised as mentioned below:-

1.Train No.17326 Mysuru - Belagavi VishwamanavaExpress with effect commencing journey from Mysuru from 10.12.2021.
