Mandatory use of ArogyaSetu App by Government Employees – 1.05 lakh downloads by Railway fraternity on NCR
North Central Control Rooms are operational 24X7 to assist customers on freight, parcel and other important information
Department of personnel and training (DoPT) has issued guidelines making use of ArogyaSetu app mandatory for all government officials. In a directive issued on 29.04.20, DoPThas directed for download of the app by all government employees and self-assessment through this app before leaving for the office, the app should show “safe†or “low risk†status.Itfurther says that if app shows “moderate†or “high risk†calculated on Bluetooth proximity(recent contact with infected person) , such official should not attend office and need to self-isolate for 14 days or till app shows “safe†or “low risk†. Railway board has already advised that ArogyaSetu developed by Ministry of Ayushis quite helpful in fight against COVID-19 to students, faculty/teacher Railway employees and their Railway families. Further it is was also advised that Ministry of Ayush has also developed a protocol for immunity boosting measures for selfcare for Railway Servants and their family members. General Manager Sri Rajiv Chaudhryhas been stressing regularly for maximizing download of this app by Railway fraternity and total of about 1.05 lakh downloads of this app are done by Railway Employee and their family members on NCR . During extended lockdown period till 3rd May 2020 , NCR has taken 360 degree approach to improve freight and parcel transportation to ensure that no derth of essential item is faced in any part of the country. With motto to transport even the smallest packet of essential commodity it has already loaded 7.8 lakh tonnes freight and booked 165 tonnes parcel till 28.04.20 . To ensure that no hardship is faced by customers and all query related to frt and parcel operations from anyone and everyone is answered on realtime basis,NCR has made elaborate arrangements through following means .
1.Any information on timetabled parcel trains can be obtained from www.enquiry.indianrail.gov.in
2.Round the clock functional national helpline numbers 139 and 138 . 138 being geofenced will connect to caller witrh neareest divisional control .
3.Commercial control of divisions are also responding to any query from customers and can be approached on Prayagraj:9794837343,9794837285 , Jhansi:9794831208 ,05102446066 and Agra :9760537860 besides a Centralized Helpline Number (SETU) of NCR at 9794835988.
