RPF/ER PROVIDES SECURITY TO THE RAILWAY PASSENGERS TIRELESSLY o­n 24X7 BASIS

 Kolkata, August 20, 2021:

         1)On 16.8.2021, acting o­n a tip-off, officers & staff of RPF Post/Berhampore has arrested a tout from his shop and recovered six Railway e-tickets valued ₹ 2012/-, 28 Railway old e-tickets valued ₹13,834/- and other incriminating articles from his possession.

 2)On 16.8.2021, officers & staff of RPF Post/Jasidih has rescued a teenage boy while he was found moving aimlessly at Jasidih Railway station. It could be learnt that he fled home due to fear of education. He was handed over to his mother after due verification and documentation.

 3)On 16.8.2021, o­n receipt of information from o­n duty TTE that o­ne girl was travelling alone in 02841 DN New Jalpaiguri – Howrah special, RPF rescued the girl in the said train and o­n arrival of the train at Bolpur Railway station she was handed over to RPF Post/Bolpur. o­n query, it could be learnt that she fled her home due to family dispute and was handed over to her father after proper identification & documentation.

 4)On 15.8.2021, officers & staff of RPF Post/Chandanpur has rescued an injured unknown male person near Janai Road Railway station. It could be learnt that he was knocked down by an unknown train & sustained injury while trespassing the Railway track. Necessary assistance was rendered and subsequently he was shifted to Government Hospital, Chanditala for treatment.
