REGULATION OF TRAINS FOR BRIDGE MAINTENANCE WORK IN EAST CENTRAL RAILWAY

Kolkata, May 10, 2022:

For maintenance of bridge no 1 in between Samastipur & Muktapur stations, 06.00 hours (09:45 hrs. to 14.45 hrs.) Traffic & Power block has been planned o­n 14.05.2022 (Saturday) & 17.05.2022 (Tuesday). Consequently, 13043 Howrah - Raxaul Express (Journey Commencing o­n 13.05.2022) & 17005 Hyderabad Decan - Raxaul Express (Journey Commencing o­n 12.05.2022) will be diverted via Samastipur - Muzaffarpur - Sitamarhi instead of Samastipur - Darbhanga - Sitamarhi and 15553 Bhagalpur- Jaynagar Express (Journey Commencing o­n 14.05.2022) will be rescheduled by 120 minutes from Bhagalpur.

Inconvenience caused to the passengers is deeply regretted.

Train No. 22701 / 22702 Visakhapatnam – Vijayawada – Visakhapatnam (Double Decker) and Train No. 17228 / 17227 Guntur – Dhone – Guntur Expresses have been restored as detailed below:

Restoration of Trains:-

1.Train No. 22701 / 22702 Visakhapatnam – Vijayawada – Visakhapatnam (Double Decker):    

These trains will stop Duvvada, Anakapalle, Tuni, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Tadepalligudem and Eluru in both the directions.

2.Train No. 17228Guntur – DhoneExpress:     

This train will stop Perecherla, Phirangipuram, Narasaraopet, Vinukonda, Donakonda, Markapur Rd, Cumbum, Giddalur, Diguvametta, Nandyal, Panyam, Krishnama Kona, B Cement Nagar, Betamcherla, Rangapuram and Malkapuram stations.

3.Train No. 17227 Dhone - GunturExpress:

This train will stop Malkapuram, Rangapuram, Betamcherla, B Cement Nagar, Krishnama Kona, Panyam, Nandyal, Gazulapalli, Diguvametta, Giddalur, Jaggambhotla Krishnapuram, Cumbum, Markapur Rd, Donakonda, Kurichedu, Vinukonda and Narasaraopet stations.
