RPF/ER ARRESTED FOUR NOTORIOUS CRIMINALS AND RECOVERED DEADLY WEAPONS FROM THEIR POSSESSION IN ASANSOL Kolkata, January 29, 2022: 1)On 24.01.2022, acting on tip off, a joint team of RPF & local police station arrested 4 notorious criminals from north side of Railway ground near mortuary of Asansol and recovered one loaded country made pipe gun with one live round of 0.303, one extra live round of 0.303 and other deadly weapons. on interrogation, it was revealed that the arrested persons were assembled with the intention to commit dacoity in any night bound train. 2)On 25.01.2022, acting on information, officers & staff of RPF Post/Baruipur rescued an unknown injured male person aged about 50 years near Jaynagar – Majilpur Railway stations. He was knocked down and injured by an unknown train while trespassing the Railway track. Necessary assistance was rendered and subsequently, the person was shifted to rural health/Nimpith for treatment. 3)On 25.01.2022, acting on information of Security Control Room, Sealdah, officers & staff of RPF Main Post/Sealdah recovered a left behind bag containing visa, passport, new clothes & medical documents valued ₹ 5,000/- from 33848 Bongaon-Sealdah local at Sealdah Railway station and handed over to its owner after proper verification & documentation. 4)On 24.01.2022, acting on information of Station Master, Sealdah, officers & staff of RPF Main Post/Sealdah has rescued an unknown injured male person near Platform No. 11 of Sealdah Railway station. He was fallen down in consequence of de-boarding from running train and sustained injury. Necessary assistance was rendered and subsequently, he was shifted to NRS hospital, Sealdah for treatment. 5)On 24.01.2022, acting on information, officers & staff of RPF Post/Sabaur rescued an injured male person between Sabaur & Lailakh Mamalkha Railway stations. He was travelling on foot board of 13410 Kiul-Malda Intercity Express due to heavy rush and fell down from the running train near Lailakh Mamalkha Railway station. Necessary assistance was rendered and injured person was shifted to Sabaur Govt. Health Unit for treatment. |
