Commissioner of Railway Safety, Bangalore to hold Statutory Inspection between Kovilpatti and Kadambur Station

High-Speed trial run will be conducted in Kovilpatti - Kadambur Newly Electrified Double Line section

Commissioner of Railway Safety, Southern Circle, Bangalore will be conducting a Statutory Inspection of the Newly Electrified Double Line Section between Kovilpatti and Kadambur stations in the Madurai Division o­n 11th January, 2023 (Wednesday)

Furthermore, Shri Abhai Kumar Rai, Commissioner of Railway Safety, Southern Circle, Bangalore will also conduct a high-speed trial run in Kovilpatti – Kadambur Newly Electrified Double Line Section o­n 11th January, 2023 (Wednesday) between 12.00 hrs to 19.00 hrs.

All users of railway lines between Kovilpatti – Kadambur stations in Madurai Division are hereby cautioned not to approach/trespass the Railway lines.

In connection with Non Interlocking working for facilitating Track Doubling Work in Kovilpatti – Kumarapuram – Kadambur section of Madurai Division, the following changes are made in the pattern of train services:


Full Cancellation of Train Services:

vTrain No. 06405 Tiruchendur – Tirunelveli Express Special leaving Tiruchendur Jn at 10.15 hrs o­n 10th and 11th January, 2023 will be fully cancelled


vTrain No. 06409 Tirunelveli – Tiruchendur Express Special leaving Tirunelveli Jn at 16.05 hrs o­n 10th and 11th January, 2023 will be fully cancelled
