SER TRAIN SERVICES AFFECTED DUE TO PUBLIC AGITATION

Kolkata, 21st September, 2022:

Train services of South Eastern Railway have been severely   affected due to agitation by a group of people at Kustaur and Nimdih Railway stations of Adra Division, Khemasuli and  Bhanjpur stations of Kharagpur Division and Aunlajori station of Chakradharpur Division since 04.00 hrs o­n  20.09.2022. However, the reasons of the agitations are not related to Railways.

The agitation is still continuing at Kastaur and Khemasuli stations.  As a result, 55 Mail/Express & Passenger trains have been cancelled. Apart from this, 37 trains have been short terminated/short originated, 40 trains have been diverted and 02 trains have been rescheduled.

Senior officers of Railways are at site to monitor the situation at the above mentioned stations and are co-ordinating with the State Government.

SER TRAIN SERVICES AFFECTED DUE TO PUBLIC AGITATION

 

Kolkata, 22nd September, 2022:

 

Train services of South Eastern Railway have been severelyaffected due to agitation by a group of people at Kustaur and Nimdih Railway stations of Adra Division, Khemasuli andBhanjpur stations of Kharagpur Division and Aunlajori station of Chakradharpur Division since 04.00 hrs o­n20.09.2022. However, the reasons of the agitations are not related to Railways.

 

The agitation is still continuing at Kastaur and Khemasuli stations.As a result, 140 Mail/Express & Passenger trains have been cancelled. Apart from this, 69 trains have been short terminated/short originated, 65 trains have been diverted and 03 trains have been rescheduled.

 

Senior officers of Railways are at the site to monitor the situation at the above mentioned stations and are co-ordinating with the State Government.
