NO DAY BLOCK OVER WR o­n SUNDAY, 14^th MAY,2023

WR’s NIGHT BLOCK BETWEEN VASAI ROAD AND BHAYANDAR

To carry out maintenance work of tracks, signaling and overhead equipment, a Jumbo Block of Four hours will be taken o­n UP Fast line from 23.30 hrs to 03.30 hrs and DOWN Fast line from 00.45 hrs to 04.45 hrs between Vasai Road and Bhayandar station o­n the intervening night of Saturday & Sunday, i.e. o­n 13^th /14^th  May, 2023. 

According to a press release issued by Shri Sumit Thakur – Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, during the block period, all Fast line trains will be operated o­n Slow lines between Virar and Bhayandar/Borivali stations.

During the block period, some UP and DOWN suburban trains will remain cancelled. Detailed information to this effect is available with concerned Station Masters. Passengers are requested to take note of the above arrangements.

Therefore, there will be NO BLOCK in DAY TIME over Western Railway Suburban section o­n Sunday, 14^thMay, 2023.

WR TO INCREASE 12-CAR NON-AC LOCAL TRAIN SERVICES OVER MUMBAI SUBURBAN SECTION W.E.F. 5^th APRIL, 2023

Total No. of Suburban services to increase from 1383 to 1394

             For the convenience of passengers traveling in Mumbai Suburban section, Western Railway has decided to add eleven additional 12-car non-AC local train services o­n a trial basis. These additional services will run with effect from 5^th April, 2023.

            According to a press release issued by Shri Sumit Thakur, Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, with these additional services, the total number of services will be increased from 1383 to 1394. The fast services that are being introduced will skip halts at Borivali and Bandra o­n an experimental basis. Accordingly, there will be minor changes in the timings of some of the existing services. The details of these additional services are as under:
