WESTERN RAILWAY TO RUN A SPECIAL TRAIN BETWEEN MUMBAI CENTRAL & BHUSAVAL STATIONS For the convenience of passengers and with a view to meet the travel demand, Western Railway has decided to run a Tri - WeeklySpecial Train on Special Fare between Mumbai Central and Bhusavalstations. According to a press release issued by Shri Sumit Thakur, Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, Train No. 09051 Mumbai Central - Bhusaval (Tri -Weekly) Special will depart on every Sunday, Tuesday & Friday from Mumbai Central at 23.55 hrs & reach Bhusaval at 12.00 hrs, the next day. This train will run from 10thJanuary to 31st March, 2023. Similarly, Train No. 09052 Bhusaval – Mumbai Central (Tri -Weekly) Special will depart on every Monday, Wednesday & Saturday from Bhusaval at 17.40 hrs & reach Mumbai Central at 05.20 hrs, the next day. This train will run from 11th January to 1stApril, 2023. Enroute this train will halt at Borivali, Boisar, Vapi, Valsad, Navsari, Bhestan, Bardoli, Vyara, Navapur, Nandurbar, Dondaicha, Sindkheda, Nardana, Amalner, Dharangaon & Jalgaon stations in both directions. This train comprises of AC First Class, AC 2-Tier, AC 3-Tier, Sleeper Class and General Second-Class coaches. It is informed that the facility of Linen will be provided in AC First Class only. The booking of Train No. 09051 will open from 09.01.2023 at PRS counters & on IRCTC website. The above train will run as Special Trains on Special Fare. दक्षिणपूर्वरेलवे SOUTH EASTERN RAILWAY प्रेसविज्ञप्ति PRESS RELEASE SER RECORDS HIGHEST EVER ANNUAL FREIGHT LOADING Kolkata, 1stApril, 2022: South Eastern Railway, during the financial year 2021-22, has loaded 195.03 million tonnes (approx) of freight which is all time record since SER’s trifurcation in the year 2003.This remarkable loading performance surpassed last year’s (2020-21) loading of 175.82 million tonnes by 10.93%. The main commodities of freight loading of SER were Iron Ore, Coal, Pig Iron & Finished Steel, Cement, Food Grains, Fertiliser, Petroleum products etc. SER has loaded 41.77 million tonnes of Coal during the financial year 2021-22 and contributed in uninterrupted supply of coal to the power and steel plants. A remarkable surge of 42.27% has been achieved in coal loading compared to last financial year’s loading of 29.36 million tonnes. Loading of Iron ore during the year 2021-22 has been 107.28 million tonnes which is 2.43% more than iron ore loading of 2020-21. Pig-Iron & Finished Steel loading has recorded a growth of 11.88%. During the financial year 2021-22, SER loaded 19.30 million tonnes of Pig-Iron & Finished Steel. SER has also achieved a growth of 10.31% in Cement loading over last year. SER has carried 13.70 million tonnes of cement in 2021-22 which was 12.42 million tonnes in 2020-21. Setting up of Business Development Unit (BDU) at headquarters and divisions has proved to be a major factor to boost up freight loading. Customer friendly steps like regular interaction with the customers, concession in freight rate and introduction of gainful incentive schemes have helped to bring in new traffic and increase the volume of existing traffic. General Manager, South Eastern Railway has congratulated the SER workforce for this remarkable achievement in freight loading in spite of the pandemic. .........
