EXTENSION OF PERIODICITY OF SPECIAL TRAINS

It is decided to extend the periodicity of the following summer special trains to clear the extra rush of passengers, as detailed below:

1.Train No.07325 SSS Hubballi – Thanjavur Weekly Express Special, which was earlier notified to run every Monday up to 24.04.2023, has now been extended from May 1 to 29, 2023 (5 Trips).

2.Train No. 07326 Thanjavur – SSS Hubballi Weekly Express Special, which was earlier notified to run every Tuesday up to 25.04.2023, has now been extended from May 2 to 30, 2023 (5 Trips).

There is no change in timings, composition and stoppages for above mentioned trains.

3.Train No. 06547 KSR Bengaluru - Velankanni Weekly Summer Express Special, which was earlier notified to run every  Saturday up to 29.04.2023, has now been extended from May 6 to 27, 2023 (i.e., 06^th, 13^th, 20^th, 27^th May, 2023 (4 Trips).

4.Train No. 06548 Velankanni - KSR Bengaluru Weekly Summer Special, which was earlier notified to run every  Saturday up to 29.04.2023, has now been extended from May 6 to 27, 2023 (i.e., 06^th, 13^th, 20^th, 27^th May, 2023 (4 Trips).

SUMMER SPECIAL TRAIN BETWEEN KSR BENGALURU - VELANKANNI

It is decided to run weekly summer special express trains (06547/06548) between Krantivira Sangolli Rayanna Bengaluru and Velankanni o­n demand for four trips to clear the extra rush during the summer vacation, as detailed below:

Train No. 06547 will leave KSR Bengaluru at 7:50 a.m. o­n 25^th March, 1^st April, 8^th April and 15^th April, 2023 and reach Velankanni at 8:30 p.m. the same day. In the return direction, Train No. 06548 Velankanni – KSR Bengaluru Summer Special Express will depart from Velankanni at 11:55 p.m. o­n 26^th March, 2^ndApril, 9^th April and 16^th April, 2023 and arrive at KSR Bengaluru at 12:30 p.m. the next day. 

The KSR Bengaluru – Velankanni – KSR Bengaluru weekly summer special express train's (06547/06548) timings are as follows (in 24-hour format):

This train will have 22 coaches including AC three-tier (13), sleeper class coaches (7) and luggage brake and generator car (2).

Passengers are requested to take advantage of this special train service.
