FLAGGING OFF OF INAUGURAL EXPRESS TRAIN SERVICE BETWEEN HUBBALLI AND GANGAVATHI

       South Western Railway is pleased to introduce New Daily Express Train service between Hubballi and Gangavathi.

           Inaugural Special was flagged off from Gangavathi at 17:00 hrs today i.e. o­n 03.06.2019. The inaugural special with Train No. 07304 Gangavathi – Hubballi Express will run up to Hubballi to open timings. This programme was graced by Shri Karadi Sanganna, recently elected Hon’ble MP, Koppal, Shri Paranna Eshwarappa Munavalli, Hon'ble MLA/Gangavathi and Shri Achar Halappa Basappa Hon’ble MLA/Yelburga. Programme was attended by large number of public.

        The regular services of Train No. 17303 / 17304 Hubballi – Gangavathi – Hubballi Express will commence from Hubballi from 04.06.2019 and from 05.06.2019 from Gangavathi.

            Train No. 17303 Hubballi – Gangavathi Express will depart daily from Hubballi at 17:20 hrs and arrive Gangavathi at 21:30 hrs.

        Enroute the train will arrive / depart Annigeri-18:00/18:01, Gadag-18:30/18:32 hrs, Bhanapur-19:19/19:20 hrs, Koppal-19:30/19:32 hrs, Ginigera-19:42/19:44 hrs, Budagumpa-20:00/20:01 hrs, Jabbalgudda Halt-20:18/20:19 hrs and Chikkabenakal-20:39/20:40 hrs.

       In the return direction 17304 Gangavathi – Hubballi Express will depart daily from Gangavathi at 05:40 hrs and arrive Hubballi at 09:30 hrs.

            Enroute the train will arrive / depart Chikkabenakal-05:54/05:55 hrs, Jabbalgudda Halt-06:07/06:08 hrs, Budagumpa-06:20/06:21 hrs, Ginigera-06:35/06:37 hrs, Koppal-06:46/06:48 hrs, Bhanapur-07:05/07:06 hrs, Gadag-08:00/08:02 hrs and Annigeri-08:29/08:30 hrs.

            This train will help commuters and business people to come to Hubballi/ Gadag and return o­n the same day. This was a   demand of the local people highlighted by public representatives for connecting Gangavathi to main line of Hubballi – Hospet.  Railway has responded positively and has introduced the train to passengers friendly timings, to meet this demand.                                            

       Recently elected Hon’ble MP from Koppal Lok Sabha Constituency Shri Karadi Sanganna, while speaking o­n the occasion he has said that with help of Hon’ble Minster of state for Railways Shri Suresh Angadi, the 165 KM length line from Ginigera- Raichur will be completed early.  

            o­ne ticket counter has also inaugurated at Gangavathi Railway Station today i.e. o­n 03.06. 2019.In addition, to man the station two Security personnel have also been posted at Gangavathi station.
