दकà¥à¤·à¤¿à¤£ पूरà¥à¤µ रेलवे SOUTH EASTERN RAILWAY पà¥à¤°à¥‡à¤¸ विजà¥à¤žà¤ªà¥à¤¤à¤¿ PRESS RELEASE 66 RAKES CONTAINING MORE THAN 1.34 LAKH TONNES FOOD GRAINS AND SALT HAVE REACHED SER JURISDICTION DURING THE MONTH OF DECEMBER Kolkata, 21st January, 2021: South Eastern Railway has taken all possible measures in the wake of COVID-19 pandemic to ensure uninterrupted supply of food grains and other essential commodities. As per the guidelines given by the Ministry of Railways, SER has geared up its entire network for unabated movement of goods trains. During the month of December, 2020, altogether 1,34,152 tonnes of food grains and salt have been unloaded from 66 rakes comprising of Rice, Wheat and Salt at different stations and sidings of South Eastern Railway. Out of these 66 rakes, 35 rakes of wheat, 30 rakes of Rice and 1 rake of Salt were unloaded. The rakes were unloaded at different locations of South Eastern Railway viz. Kharagpur, Kalaikunda, Midnapur, Rupsa, Sankrail Goods Terminal Yard, Adra, Purulia, Bankura, Bokaro Steel City, Tatanagar, Tatisilwai, Namkom etc. during the period from 1st December to 31st December, 2020. ……. 2

दकà¥à¤·à¤¿à¤£à¤ªà¥‚रà¥à¤µà¤°à¥‡à¤²à¤µà¥‡ SOUTH EASTERN RAILWAY पà¥à¤°à¥‡à¤¸à¤µà¤¿à¤œà¥à¤žà¤ªà¥à¤¤à¤¿ PRESS RELEASE 19 RAKES CONTAINING MORE THAN 29 THOUSAND TONNES OF FOOD GRAINS HAVE REACHED RANCHI DIVISION OF SER DURING THE MONTH OF DECEMBER Kolkata, 18th January, 2021: South Eastern Railway has taken all possible measures in the wake of COVID-19 pandemic to ensure uninterrupted supply of food grains and other essential commodities. As per the guidelines given by the Ministry of Railways, SER has geared up its entire network for unabated movement of goods trains. During the month of December, 2020, altogether 29,379 tonnes of food grains have been unloaded from 19 food rakes comprising of Rice and Wheat in Ranchi Division. The rakes were unloaded at Namkom and Tatisilwai of Ranchi Division of South Eastern Railway during the period from 1st December to 31st December, 2020. The concerned staff of South Eastern Railway have been working at various stations and goods sheds for safe unloading and loading of food grains and essential commodities. Security persons have also been deployed for security of food grains and other commodities. ……
