Kolkata, April 8, 2023 To clear extra rush of passengers, one (1) pair special train will run between Godda & Ranchi via Deoghar which was informed earlier. The train will be diverted via Barkakana, Muri and will not touch at Bokaro Steel City in both directions. Due to this diversion the timings & stoppages of the special train has been revised as under:- 03401 Godda - Ranchi Special will leave Godda at 14:45 hrs. on 10.04.2023 to reach Ranchi at 04:00 hrs. on the next day. 03402 Ranchi – Godda special will leave Ranchi at 18:00 hrs. on 11.04.2023 to reach Godda at 07:00 hrs. on the next day. The train will stop at Prayahat, Gangawara Halt, Hansdiha, Kumarhat, Nonihat, Barapalashi, New Madanpur, Dumka, Jama, Basukinath, Chandanpahari, Dhanpatdih, Ghormara, Sirsa Nunthar Halt, Mohanpur, Deoghar, Jasidih, Kumrabad Rohini, Sankarpur, Arjunnagar, Mathurapur, Nawapatra, Madhupur, Joramo, Madankatta, Vidyasagar, Jamtara, Chittaranjan, Barakar, Dhanbad, Katrasjarh, Chandrapura & Muri stations in both directions en-routh. The train will have general second class, sleeper class coaches. Booking of tickets for the above special is available through PRS & Internet. 2

NEW DUMKA – RANCHI EXPRESS (13319/13320) WAS FLAGGED OFF AT DUMKA RAILWAY STATION Kolkata, March 3, 2022: New Dumka – Ranchi Express (13319/13320) was flagged off by Hon’ble MP Shri Sunil Soren at Dumka Railway station today (3.3.2022). He also spoke on the occasion pointing out the basic benefits of introduction of this service. The key note of extension of Deoghar – Ranchi Express upto Dumka is to provide safe & fast connectivity for the people of Dumka region. It will also provide comfortable journey for the inhabitants of Dumka region as the new train will ensure hassle free voyage between Dumka district and the state capital of Jharkhand. It will enable easier transport of local merchandise to give boost to local products. It will embolden easier communication between Jharkhand & West Bengal. It will also extend impetus to socio-economic development of Dumka. The train will stop at Jasidih, Kumrabad Rohini, Sankarpur, Mathurapur, Madhupur, Vidyasagar, Jamtara, Chittaranjan, Kumardubi, Dhanbad, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Jn. (Gomoh), Chandrapura, Bokaro Steel City and Muri stations enroute in both the directions. Shri Permanand Sharma, Divisional Railway Manager and other divisional officers of Asansol Division were present on the occasion. |
