REGULATION OF TRAINS DUE TO DEVELOPMENTAL WORK

IN CHAKRADHARPUR DIVISION

 

Kolkata, 29thDecember, 2022:

 

In view of Pre-Non Interlocking and Non-Interlocking works at Birarajpur Station of Chakradharpur Division in connection with replacement of signaling gears with centralized operation of points and signals with Electronic Interlocking along with remodeling of the yard from 04.01.2023 to 09.01.2023, the following train services will be regulated as under:

 

Cancellation of Trains:

·18601/18602 Tatanagar-Hatia-Tatanagar Express will remain cancelled from 04.01.2023 to 09.01.2023.

·08173/08174 Asansol-Tatanagar-Asansol MEMU Special will remain cancelled from 04.01.2023 to 09.01.2023. The Rake of 08055 Kharagpur-Tatanagar Special will run as 08056 Tatanagar-Kharagpur Special from 04.01.2023 to 09.01.2023.

·08151/08152 Tatanagar-Barkakana-Tatanagar Passenger Special will remain cancelled from 04.01.2023 to 09.01.2023. The Rake of 08071 Kharagpur-Tatanagar Special will run as 08072 Tatanagar-Kharagpur Special from 04.01.2023 to 09.01.2023.

·08196 Hatia-Tatanagar MEMU Special will remain cancelled from 03.01.2023 to 08.01.2023.

·08195 Tatanagar-Hatia MEMU Special will remain cancelled from 04.01.2023 to 09.01.2023.

·18019/18020 Jhargram-Dhanbad-Jhargram MEMU Express will remain cancelled from 04.01.2023 to 09.01.2023.

·08697/08698 Jhargram-Purulia-Jhargram MEMU Special will remain cancelled from 04.01.2023 to 09.01.2023.

 

Short Termination/Short Origination of Trains:

·13512/13511 Asansol-Tatanagar-Asansol Express will be short terminated at/short originated from Purulia o­n 06.01.2023 and 08.01.2023. Therefore, the service of 13512/13511 will remain cancelled between Purulia-Tatanagar-Purulia.

·13301/13302 Dhanbad-Tatanagar-Dhanbad Express will be short terminated at/short originated from Adra from 04.01.2023 to 09.01.2023. Therefore, the service of 13301/13302 will remain cancelled between Adra-Tatanagar-Adra.

Diversion of Trains:

·22857 Santragachi-Anand Vihar Express leaving Santragachi o­n 09.01.2023 will run o­n diverted route via Midnapur-Adra-Gomoh.

·22858 Anand Vihar-Santragachi Express leaving Anand Vihar o­n 03.01.2023 will run o­n diverted route via Gomoh-Adra-Midnapur.

·12444 Anand Vihar-Haldia Express leaving Anand Vihar o­n 03.01.2023 will run o­n diverted route via Gomoh-Adra-Midnapur.

·12443 Haldia-Anand Vihar Express leaving Haldia o­n 05.01.2023 will run o­n diverted route via Midnapur-Adra-Gomoh.

Rescheduling of Train:

·18185 Tatanagar-Godda Express will be rescheduled to leave Tatanagar at 16.00 hrs instead of 14.00 hrs o­n 09.01.2023.

SER LAYS EMPHASIS o­n MODERNISATION OF SIGNALLING SYSTEM

 

Kolkata, 16th June, 2021:

 

South Eastern Railway has been constantly laying emphasis o­n modernisation of signalling system to enhance safety and capacity in train operations. Up-gradation of signalling system is a continuous process and helps to facilitate train operations at higher speed and even in inclement weather. A modernised signalling system not o­nly ensures safety in train operations but also helps to provide seamless operation.

 

SER has been laying stress o­n modernisation and up-gradation with Electronic Interlocking, Route Relay Interlocking and Panel Interlocking works to make train operations safer and more efficient.

Keeping in view the advantages of modern signalling system, South Eastern Railway during the year 2020-21 has commissioned/modified/replaced the following signalling systems within its jurisdiction:

·New Interlocking System has been commissioned at 26 stations viz. Rajkharswan, Bahalda Road, Joychandipahar etc.

·Old Relay Interlocking Systems have been replaced by New Interlocking Systems at 9 stations viz. Ghatsila, Amta etc.

·Mechanical Lever Frame Interlocking Systems have been replaced by Electronic Interlocking Systems at 12 stations viz. Garbeta, Talgoria, Bokaro, Lodhma etc.

 

In the financial year 2021-22, SER has also planned the following signal up-gradation works to be completed:

·Route Relay Interlocking with Electronic Interlocking will be completed at Adra staion.

·Panel Interlocking is targeted to be completed at Haludpukur and Aunlajhori stations.

·Electronic Interlocking Work is targeted to be completed at Bondamunda, Muradih, Domjur, Bargachia, Birarajpur and Adra Stations.

 

In addition, CTC (Centralised Traffic Control) has also been planned in Howrah-Kharagpur Section for faster movement of train service. All these modernisation works will make this railway future ready in train operation and safety aspect.
