Shri G. Kishan Reddy, Hon’ble Union Minister Hands over Appointment Letters to New Recruits at Secunderabad

Shri G. Kishan Reddy, Hon’ble Minister of Culture, Tourism and Development of North Eastern Region, Govt. of India handed over appointment letters to newly selected recruits of Central Government under the first phase of Rozgar Mela at a function held today i.e., 22nd October, 2022 at Rail Kalarang, Bhoiguda, Secunderabad in the august presence of Dr. K. Laxman, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha and Shri Bandi Sanjay, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Karimnagar. Shri Arun Kumar Jain, General Manager (In-Charge), SCR, Shri A.K Gupta, Divisional Railway Manager, Secunderabad Division and other senior officials from different Central Government Ministries also participated in the program.

Shri Narendra Modi, Hon’ble Prime Minister launched the Rozgar Mela – recruitment drive for 10 lakh personnel at the National level through video conferencing. The Hon’ble Prime Minister congratulated the new appointees. He stated that the youth play an important role in Nation building and encouraged the new recruits to put in their best efforts and perform their duties sincerely and with utmost dedication towards building ‘New India’

Speaking o­n the occasion, Shri G. Kishan Reddy congratulated the newly selected recruits of Central Government and wished them the best for the beginning of a new chapter in their lives. He expressed his gratitude to the Hon’ble Prime Minister for uplifting the youth of the country and providing better employment opportunities. He informed that the Government of India is undertaking various initiatives o­n a large scale towards generating more employment opportunities and attracting investments across various sectors including flagship programs such as Digital India, Smart City Mission, Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation, Housing for All, Infrastructure Development and Industrial Corridors etc. In this regard, the Government has also undertaken the ‘Make in India’ initiative which is promoting the making of Toys to Vande Bharat trains and warship like Vikrant indigenously, he said.

Further, the Hon’ble Union Minister informed that Rs. 1,20,000 crore has been allocated for development of National Highways in Telangana state. In addition, Railways has also undertaken the redevelopment of Secunderabad Railway station with a cost of Rs. 650 crore. Further, he informed that Charlapalli Railway Satellite terminal works are also under fast progress. He also informed that the recruitment process is transparent and based o­n merit. Further, he added that Women Empowerment has also seen great strides in various sectors including Defense, Police and BSF etc.

In his welcome address, Shri Arun Kumar Jain, General Manager (In-Charge), SCR stated that it is a happy moment for the zone to host such a momentous event which heralds a new dawn in employment opportunities for the youth of the Nation. He stated that under the dynamic leadership of our Hon’ble Prime Minister, Indian Railways is o­n transformation phase and lending the wheels to the economic growth of the Nation. It is sure that the growth trajectory which is being witnessed now will extend in the future times ahead, he added.

Increase in frequency of train no. 14113/14 Subedarganj-Dehradun Express 

The train connects two Kumbh cities (Prayagraj & Haridwar)

Railway administration is always striving to provide improved facilities to its passengers. In this sequence, It has been decided that the frequency of the main train connecting two famous Kumbh cities train no. 14113/14 Subedarganj-Dehradun Express will be increased.  Earlier this train used to operate 03 days in a week, now it will operate 05 days in a week. This train starts from Subedarganj via Fatehpur, Kanpur Central, Etawah, Tundla Aligarh, Rajghat Narora, Babrala, Bahjoi, Chandausi, Raja Ka Sahaspur, Moradabad, Kanth, Syohara, Dhampur, Nagina, Najibabad, Chandok, Laksar, Haridwar goes to Dehradun. Train no. 14113/14 will have SLR-01, SLR/D-01, General Class-03, Sleeper Class-05, AC III-04, AC I cum II Class-01=15 LHB Coaches. 

The primary maintenance of train no. 14113/14 Subedarganj-Dehradun Express will be done at newly developed pit line at Subedarganj instead of Prayagraj  w.e.f. 05.06.2022 (Sunday).The details of increase in the frequency of the train will be as follows-
