Passenger received his left behind bag after grievance lodged in Rail Madad portal. Railways took immediate action on a complaint regarding left behind bag through Rail Madad portal. A passenger named Bimal Kumar Bidyadhar travelling in Sambalpur-Rayagada Inter City Express from Barpali to Kesinga, today, lodged a complaint in Rail Madad about his left behind bag. Railways took immediate action and assured Shri Bidyadhar that all efforts will be taken to recover the left behind bag. RPF officials at Muniguda and Sambalpur were informed. Later, RPF Team at Muniguda retrieved the left behind bag and handed over to the complainant with proper verification. The passenger after getting his bag appreciated about the quick response of the Rail Ministry and extended thanks to Railway Minister Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw for developing such a system for the benefit of the passengers. 2

दकà¥à¤·à¤¿à¤£à¤ªà¥‚रà¥à¤µà¤°à¥‡à¤²à¤µà¥‡ SOUTH EASTERN RAILWAY पà¥à¤°à¥‡à¤¸à¤µà¤¿à¤œà¥à¤žà¤ªà¥à¤¤à¤¿ PRESS RELEASE MEDICAL HELP AND ASSISTANCE PROVIDED TO LADY PASSENGER SUFFERING FROM HEAD INJURY CAUSED BY CO-PASSENGER Kolkata, 5th January, 2023: Railways provided medical help and assistance to a lady passenger suffering from head injury who was travelling by 18452 Puri-Hatia Tapaswini Express oÂn 4th January, 2023. A passenger named Shri Amit Ranjan called oÂn Railway Helpline No. 139 and complained that some co passengers attacked his wife and caused head injury during a scuffle with him. He also requested for RPF and medical assistance during his phone call. After receiving the complaint, the Office of the Minister of Railways took immediate cognizance and the complainant was contacted for details of the incident. Shri Amit Ranjan and his wife Smt. Varsha were provided with RPF assistance and medical facility at the next station Bano under the jurisdiction of South Eastern Railway. They were also provided assistance till Hatia station for their comfortable and safe journey. Simultaneously, the accused was taken into custody and was handed over to the GRP at Hatia Police Station. Later, Shri Amit Ranjan appreciated the immediate action taken by the Office of the Minister of Railways and the prompt assistance by the RPF. ***********
