-The train continues witness huge response with 100% patronage by rail passengers The Originating Bharat Gaurav Train from South Central Railways continues to witness huge response with the train having 100% patronage from rail users. Started as Tourist Circuit Train providing a unique opportunity to rail passengers from the two Telugu states, the train after completing 4 trips has commenced its 5th trip today i.e., 27th May, 2023 from Secunderabad Railway station. Shri K.R.K. Reddy, Principal Chief Commercial Manager, SCR oversaw commencement of fifth Bharat Gaurav train at Secunderabad Railway station. He inspected the oÂn-board catering facilities being provided to the pilgrim passengers and also interacted with them about the services being made available to them. He also enquired oÂn the tour package details and took passenger feedback. Shri P.Rajkumar, Group General Manager, IRCTC was also present. The train gives a unique opportunity to the rail passengers of the two Telugu states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh to visit some of the most ancient and historical places in the Eastern & Northern part of the country. Apart from Secunderabad, the train provides boarding / de-boarding facility at 8 places – Like Kazipet, Khammam, Vijayawada, Eluru, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, etc – across the two Telugu states. They will be taken to important places like Puri, Konark, Gaya, Varanasi, Ayodhya and Prayagraj over a period of 8 nights / 9 days. Given the unique opportunity the train provides to the rail passengers, passengers not oÂnly from Secunderabad railway station but also from enroute stations have come forward to avail the Bharat Gaurav Train services. The train provides opportunity to both AC and Non-AC passengers with a mixed composition – 2 AC (1), 3 AC (3) and Sleeper (7). Reflecting the patronage of all segments, rail passengers from both Secunderabad Station as well as enroute stations have availed both AC as well as Non-AC train services. Shri Arun Kumar Jain, General Manager, SCR has expressed his happiness at the over whelming response received from the passengers for all the services of the Bharat Gaurav Tourist train from SCR. He stated that the train provides a unique opportunity to pilgrim passengers to visit culturally prominent and historical places without hassle of planning individual itinerary items. He also stated that Bharat Gaurav trains will give major fillip to the growth of Tourism in the country and fulfilling the desire of the tourist passengers in the most convenient manner.
