DIVERSION OF TRAINS FOR NI WORK OVER EAST CENTRAL RAILWAY Kolkata, January 18, 2023 Due to non-interlocking work at Karaila Road, Anpara and Mirchadhori stations in Dhanbad Division over East Central Railway, following trains will be diverted: 19413 Ahmedabad – Kolkata Express and 13026 Bhopal – Howrah Express (all journey commencing on 18.01.2023) will be diverted via Katni Murwara - Katni Jn – Satna – Prayagraj Chheoki – Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay – Dehri on Sone – Garwa Road instead of its scheduled route via Katni Murwara – Singrauli – Chopan. 11447 Jabalpur – Howrah Shaktipunj Express and 11448 Howrah – Jabalpur Shaktipunj Express (all journey commencing on 18.01.2023) will be diverted via Katni South - Prayagraj Chheoki – Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay – Dehri on Sone – Garwa Road instead of its scheduled route via Katni South – Singrauli – Chopan. Inconvenience to be caused to the passengers is deeply regretted. 2

YEOMEN SERVICE OF ER’S BHARAT SCOUTS & GUIDES TO THE POOR & DISTRESSED FAMILIES Kolkata, April 5, 2020: Like other units of Eastern Railway, Bharat Scouts & Guides of the Railway has offered yeomen service to the poor and the needy during this crisis situation. At Kanchrapara, ER’s Bharat Scouts & Guides has picked up 45 families in Goalapara area for distribution of essential items. Those families are in real need of food during this period of lockdown. The distribution will again take place after five days of today’s service (5.4.2020). Essential food items including rice, pulses, potatoes, soyabeans and soap were distributed. At Azimganj, ER’s Bharat Scouts & Guides has also taken up the responsibility of distribution of food items to the families of Sasanparagram, who are living in a distressful condition. As many as 120 families were covered with much needed food items today (5.4.2020).
