Kolkata, March 18, 2023:


  Due to late arrival of corresponding down link train, 22405 UP Bhagalpur – Anand Vihar Terminal Garib Rath Express will leave Bhagalpur at 20:00 hrs. today (18.03.2023) instead of its scheduled departure time at 13:40 hrs.& earlier rescheduled at 18:00 hrs.

  Inconvenience to be caused to the passengers is deeply regretted.

Press Release:RPF/ER CONTINUING LAUDABLE SERVICE TO ENSURE SECURITY AT RAILWAY PREMISES

    RPF of Eastern Railway continuing their endeavour to ensure security of passengers at Railway premises with special emphasis to protective shield for women and children.
i.On 18.03.2023, under operation ‘Nanhe Fariste’, officials of RPF Post/Bhagalpur rescued two teenage boys who were roaming aimlessly at Bhagalpur Railway Station and were handed over to Child Line, Bhagalpur under due documentation for further disposal. o­n the same day, officials of RPF Post /Asansol rescued a minor boy from Asansol Station and handed over to Child Line Asansol under due Documentation for further disposal. 

ii.On 18.03.2023, under operation ‘Nanhe Fariste’, officials of RPF Post/Sahibganj rescued a minor boy & a minor girl who were roaming aimlessly at Sahibganj Railway Station premises. They fled away from their  school because they are not interested to take education and their family pressurized them for studies . They were also handed over to Child Line, Sahibganj under due documentation for further disposal.

iii.Under operation 'SATARK' , o­n 18.03.2023 acting o­n  reliable sources officials of Crime Intelligence Branch, Crime Prevention and Detection Squad/RPF, Howrah and RPF Post/Howrah (North) apprehended a person who was carrying bags in a suspicious manner at Howrah Railway Station and recovered Cash Rs. 20, 00,000 from his possession. The accused person unable to show any supporting documents regarding the amount of Cash.The apprehended person with recovered Indian currency was handed over to Custom Department Kolkata for further disposal. 

iv.On 18.03.2023, under operation ‘Satark’, officials of Crime Intelligence Branch, Crime Prevention and Detection Squad & RPF Post/Howrah (Central) apprehended a person who was carrying bags in a suspicious manner at Howrah Railway Station and recovered Cash Rs. 12,80,000 from his possession. The apprehended person with recovered Indian currency was  also handed over to Custom Department Kolkata for further disposal. 

v.On 18.03.2023, under operation ‘Amanat’, officials of RPF Post/Seoraphuli retrieved a left behind bag containing Cash Rs. 27500/-, Power Bank, valuable documents, personal belongings total valued Rs 32200/- from 37045 UP Howrah- Seoraphuli Local at Seoraphuli Railway Station and handed over to its owner after proper verification & documentation
