12 Trains from (VEL)VELLANUR to (TPJ)TIRUCHCHIRAPALI

In view of Line Block/Power Block for facilitating engineering works in Manamadurai – Sudiyur section, Vellanur – Pudukkottai Section, Kodaikanal Road Station Yard, Sankarankovil – Rajapalayam section and Kottarakara – Kundara section in Madurai Division, the following are the changes in pattern of train services:

Partial Cancellation of Train Services:

·Train No.16868 Madurai Junction – Villupuram Junction Express leaving Madurai Junction at 04.05 hrs from 17^th October to  22^nd October, 2022 & 26^th October to 29^th October, 2022 will be partially cancelled between Madurai and Dindigul Junction. The train will commence its journey from Dindigul Junction at its scheduled departure time of 05.05 hrs o­n the mentioned days.

Rescheduling of Train Services:

·Train No. 06652 Rameswaram – Madurai Express Special scheduled to leave Rameswaram at 05.40 hrs o­n 17^th, 18^th, 19^th, 20^th, 21^st, 22^nd, 26^th, 27^th, 28^th, 29^th and 31^st October, 2022 (Except Sundays and 24^th and 25^th October) will be rescheduled to leave Rameswaram at 08.10 hrs (Late by 2 hrs 30 mins)

·     Train No. 06653 Madurai – Rameswaram Express Special scheduled to leave Madurai at 12.30 hrs o­n 17^th, 18^th, 19^th, 20^th, 21^st, 22^nd, 26^th, 27^th, 28^th, 29^th and 31^st October, 2022 (Except Sundays and 24^th and 25^th October) will be rescheduled to leave Madurai at 13.20 hrs (Late by 50 mins)

Fixed Time Corridor Traffic Blocks for Maintenance of Tracks and Track upgradation work have been permitted for the month of October for various sections like Vellanur – Pudukottai Section, Kodaikanal Road Rly Station Yard, Sankarankovil – Rajapalayam section and Kottarakara – Kundara section in Madurai Division. Consequently, the following are the changes in the Pattern of Train Services :-

Full Cancellation

·Train No.06663 Madurai – Sengottai Express Special leaving Madurai at 11.30 hrs is cancelled from 8^th October 2022 to 31^st October 2022 (except Sundays 9^th, 16^th, 23^rd and 30^th October 2022)

·Similarly, its pairing train, Train No.06664 Sengottai - Madurai Express Special leaving Sengottai at 11.50 hrs is cancelled from 8^th October 2022 to 31^st October 2022 (except Sundays 9^th, 16^th, 23^rd and 30^th October 2022)

Partial Cancellation

·Train No.16868 Madurai – Villupuram Express leaving Madurai at 04.05 hrs will be partially cancelled between Madurai and Dindigul and will run between Dindigul and Villupuram from 10^th October to 15^th October 2022 and will leave Dindigul at its scheduled departure time of 05.05 hrs towards Villupuram.

·Train No.06829 Tiruchchirappalli – Manamadurai DEMU Express Special leaving Tiruchchirappalli at 10.15 hrs will be partially cancelled between Sivaganga and Manamadurai and will run o­nly upto Sivaganga from 8^th October to 31^st October (Except o­n 24^th and 25^th October 2022)

·Similarly, its pairing train, Train No.06830 Manamadurai - Tiruchchirappalli DEMU Express Special leaving Manamadurai at 14.15 hrs will be partially cancelled between Manamadurai and  Sivaganga and will run from Sivaganga upto Tiruchchirappalli from 8^th October to 31^st October (Except o­n 24^th and 25^th October 2022) leaving at its scheduled departure time of 14.37 hrs from Sivaganga towards Tiruchchirappalli.

·Train No.16328 Guruvayur – Punalur Express leaving Guruvayur at 05.45 hrs will be partially cancelled between Kollam and Punalur and will run o­nly between Guruvayur to Punalur from 22^nd October 2022 to 26^th October 2022.

·Similarly, its pairing train, Train No.16327 Punalur – Guruvayur Express leaving Punalur at 18.45 hrs will be partially cancelled between Punalur and Kollam and will leave from Kollam at the scheduled departure time of 19.45 hrs towards Guruvayur
