WESTERN RAILWAY TO RUN WEEKLY SUMMER SPECIAL TRAINS BETWEEN UDHNA – MANGALURU, UDHNA – BHAGAT KI KOTHI & VALSAD - UDAIPUR EXTENSION OF TRIPS OF SPECIAL TRAIN BETWEEN BANDRA TERMINUS – BIKANER For the convenience of passengers and with a view to clear the extra rush during the ensuing summer vacation, Western Railway will run Summer Special Trains on Special fare between Udhna – Mangaluru,Udhna – Bhagat Ki Kothi& Valsad - Udaipur. The trips of Bandra Terminus – Bikaner is also being extended. According to a press release issued by Shri Sumit Thakur – Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, the details of these train are as under: 1.Train No. 09057/09058 Udhna – Mangaluru Special (Via Vasai Road) [18 Trips] Train No. 09057 Udhna – Mangaluru Special will depart from Udhna every Wednesday at 20.00 hrs. and reach Mangaluru at 19.40 hrs, the next day. This train will run from 12thApril, 2023 to 7th June, 2023. Similarly, Train No. 09058 Mangaluru– Udhna Special will depart Mangaluru every Thursday at 21.10 hrs and reach Udhna at 21.05 hrs., the next day. This train will run from 13th April, 2023 to 8th June, 2023. Enroute this train will halt at Valsad, Vapi, Palghar, Vasai Road, Panvel, Roha, Mangaon, Khed, Chiplun, Sawarda, Sangameshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Rajapur Road, Vaibhavwadi Road, Kankavli, Sindhudurg, Kudal, Sawantwadi Road, Thivim, Karmali, Madgaon, Canacona, Karwar, Ankola, Gokarna Road, Kumta, Murdeshwar, Bhatkal, Mookambika Road Byndoor, Kundapura, Udupi, Mulki and Surathkal stations in both directions. Train No. 09057 will have an additional halt at Bhivandi Rd station. This train comprises of First AC, AC 2-Tier, AC 3-Tier, Sleeper Class and General Second Class coaches. 2.Train No. 09093/09094 Udhna – Bhagat Ki Kothi Special [22 Trips] Train No. 09093 Udhna – Bhagat Ki Kothi Special will depart from Udhna every Saturday at 13.30 hrs and reach Bhagat Ki Kothi at 09.30 hrs, the next day. This train will run from 15th April, 2023 to 24thJune, 2023. Similarly, Train No. 09094 Bhagat Ki Kothi – Udhna Special will depart from Bhagat Ki Kothi every Sunday at 12.15 hrs and reach Udhna at 07.00 hrs, the next day. This train will run from 16th April, 2023 to 25thJune, 2023. Enroute this train will halt at Surat, Vadodara, Ratlam, Mandsor, Nimach, Chittaurgarh, Bhilwara, Bijainagar, Nasirabad, Ajmer, Beawar, Marwar, Pali Marwar and Luni stations in both directions. This train comprises of AC 2-Tier, AC 3-Tier, Sleeper Class and General Second Class coaches. 3.Train No. 09067/09068 Valsad - Udaipur Superfast Special (Weekly) [22 Trips] Train No. 09067 Valsad - Udaipur Superfast Special will depart from Valsad every Monday at 20.15 hrs & will reach Udaipur at 09.45 hrs the next day. This train will run from 17thApril, 2023 to 26th June, 2023. Similarly, Train No. 09068 Udaipur - Valsad Superfast Special will depart from Udaipur every Tuesday at 21.15 hrs & will arrive Valsad at 10.35 hrs the next day. This train will run from 18th April, 2023 to 27th June, 2023. Enroute this train will halt at Surat, Vadodara, Ratlam, Mandsor, Nimach, Chittaurgarh, Fatehnagar, Mavli and Rana Pratap Nagar stations in both directions. This train comprises of AC 2-Tier, AC 3-Tier, Sleeper Class and General Second Class Coaches. Extension of trips of TRAIN NO. 04712/04711 BANDRA TERMINUS – BIKANER WEEKLY SPECIAL TRAIN (22 TRIPS) Train No. 04712 Bandra Terminus – BikanerWeekly Special has been extended to run from 16th April to 25th June, 2023. Train No. 04711 Bikaner – Bandra Terminus Weekly Special has been extended to run from 15th April to 24th June, 2023. The booking for Train No. 09057 will open from 11th April 2023 and for Train No. 09093, 09067 and for the extended trips of Train No. 04712will open from 12th April, 2023 at all PRS Counters and on IRCTC website. 38 contracts have been finalized through e-auction in North Central Railway. • Annual earning of Rs 266.50 lakh has been relized so far • E-auction of 10 contracts fialized in Prayagraj division • E-auction a fast and transparent process • Bidder can bid by registering on IREPS website with a registration fee of only Rs.10,000 In a move toward simplification of procedures, so far 38 contracts have been awarded using e-auction by North Central Railway for parcel leasing, pay and use toilet, parking, commercial publicity, ATM, etc. and earned an income of 266.50 lakh has through this. It is worth to be informed that out of 678 assets, under non-fare revenue, 406 assets were auctioned and 10 contracts were allotted through e-auction by Prayagraj Division North Central Railway. For the first time, contracts for 07 assets were awarded through e-auction. At present, successful e-auction of 10 assets has been done in Prayagraj division, which include 01 parking, 03 pay and use toilets and 06 commercial advertisement related contracts. In which contracts of parking at Sonbhadra, Pay and Use toilets at Kanpur, Etawah and Tundla and commercial advertisements at Prayagraj Junction, Kanpur Central, Naini, Prayagraj Chheoki, Khurja and Govindpuri stations were awarded through e-auction, with an annual total earning of about Rs. 67 lakhs. A total Revenue of Rs. 2 crore 29 lakh is likely to be received by Prayagraj Division during the complete contract period. Similarly in Agra division contracts awarded through e-auction include parking contract at Agra Cantt, and for commercial advertisement at Goverdhan & Nadbai. The contracts awarded through e-auction over Jhansi Division include parking contracts at Gwalior, Datia, Khajuraho and MauraniPur stations; Pay and Use toilets contract at Chitrakoot, Gwalior, Morena, Veerangana Laxmibai Jhansi and Datia and commercial advertisement contract of Banda, Lalitpur, Orai, Chitrakoot, Morena, Dabra, Tikamgarh, Chitrakoot , Gwalior, Chhatarpur, Datia and Veerangana Laxmibai Jhansi stations were awarded. Railway Board had issued guidelines on 13.06.2022 for award of commercial contracts through e-auction. Under this, it has been ensured to award commercial contracts like parcel leasing, pay and use toilets, parking, commercial publicity, ATMs, etc. through e-auction. Under the e-auction, the bidder has to register himself in the IREPS website and for this, one time ₹ 10,000 has to be deposited as registration fee through the IREPS website and the bidder has to open his current account in SBI Bank. The bidder becomes eligible to participate in any auction after depositing ₹10,000 as registration fee and registering himself on the IREPS website.* The e-auction process is completely online, being online will increase transparency and trust. With this policy, any bidder can bid from anywhere. Earnest money at the time of bidding has also been reduced as compared to earlier. If the bidder does not get the contract, the earnest money will be refunded immediately, whereas earlier this amount was not refundable till the contract is awarded. Along with this, in this process, the bidder gets to know how many people are participating in the e-auction and how many are bidding out of them. Through the e-auction process, the time taken in contracts, paper work will also be reduced. The scope of inviting buyers through e-auction is also expected to increase, earlier the bidder had to come to the office for the tender process, but now bidding can be done from anywhere. Thus hereby simplifying the complex, traditional and time-consuming process. Apart from this, youth will also get a chance to be a part of the e-auction process. This will facilitate easy working, promote transparency and give impetus to the Digital India initiative in Railways.
