Kolkata, February 17, 2023: In connection with the doubling work of Bakulha – Suraimanpur – Reoti – Sahatwar in Varanasi Division of North Eastern Railway, pre non-interlocking/ non-interlocking work has been planned from 19.02.2023 to 28.02.2023. Consequently, following arrangements have been planned in train running :- Short termination/ Short origination: 13105 Sealdah – Ballia Express (journey commencing from 18.02.2023 to 27.02.2023), 13121 Kolkata – Ghazipur City Weekly Express (journey commencing on 19.02.2023 & 26.02.2023) and 13137 Kolkata – Azamgarh Weekly Express (journey commencing on 20.02.2023 & 27.02.2023) will be short terminated at Chhapra. 13106 Ballia - Sealdah Express (journey commencing from 19.02.2023 to 28.02.2023), 13122 Ghazipur City - Kolkata Weekly Express (journey commencing on 20.02.2023 & 27.02.2023) and 13138 Azamgarh - Kolkata Weekly Express (journey commencing on 21.02.2023 & 28.02.2023) will be short originated from Chhapra. Moreover, 15050 Gorakhpur – Kolkata Express (journey commencing on 22.02.2023) will be controlled for 90 minutes enroute. Inconvenience to be caused to the passengers is deeply regretted. 2

Shri Gajanan Mallya, General Manager, South Central Railway undertook Inspection of Nandyal – Piduguralla section of Guntur Division today i.e., 13th September, 2021. He was accompanied by Shri R. Mohan Raja, Divisional Railway Manager, Guntur Division, Principal Head of the Departments and other senior officials. The General Manager commenced the inspection at Nandyal Railway station. He examined the entire station premises and reviewed the passenger amenities available at station. He inaugurated a new running room at Nandyal and inspected the facilities at the Health Unit. The General Manager visited the goods shed at Nandyal, where he reviewed the freight operations and planted saplings towards green environment. He also held a review meeting with the Cement Industry representatives and freight customers at Nandyal and held discussions about the development plans for improving the freight facilities at the station. During the inspection, Shri Shilpa Ravi Chandra Kishore Reddy, Hon'ble MLA, Nandyal met the General Manager and discussed oÂÂn rail developmental plans pertaining to his region. Later, the General Manager undertook rear window inspection between Nandipalli – Bogada tunnel section to review the safety aspects of track and proceeded oÂÂn to inspect the Bogada tunnel. Following this, he visited the Diguvametta Railway station, where he inspected the circulating area and reviewed the passenger amenities available at the station. He also examined the Railway quarters at Diguvametta and interacted with the gang-men. The General Manager proceeded oÂÂn to inspect Markapur Road Railway station, where he reviewed the amenities at the station and reviewed the progress of the new station building works. The General Manager inspected Donakonda Railway station and Health Unit. He proceeded oÂÂn to inspect Kurichedu, Savalyapuram, Rompicherla and Nemalipuri Railway stations, where he examined the entire station premises and reviewed the passenger amenities. Later, the General Manager visited the Piduguralla Railway station. He examined the passenger amenities at the station and discussed oÂÂn further developmental plans with the officials. During the course of inspection, the General Manager interacted with the media and briefed them oÂÂn plans for improvement of facilities. Several public representatives also met the General Manager and discussed oÂÂn Rail developmental plans pertaining to their region.
