In order to clear extra rush of passengers, Railways will run two o­ne-way special trains between Chhapra – Secunderabad & Gorakhpur – Secunderabad as detailed below:

a)Train No. 05179 Chhapra – Secunderabad Special:

Enroute, this special train will stop at Siwan, Bhatpar Rani, Bhatni, Deoria Sadar, Gorakhpur, Khalilabad, Basti, Gonda, Barabanki, Badshahnagar, Aishbagh, Kanpur, Virangana Likshmibai, Bhopal, Itarsi, Nagpur, Balaharshah, Macherial and Kazipet stations.

b)Train No. 05023 Gorakhpur– Secunderabad Special:

Enroute, this special train will stop at Khalilabad, Basti, Gonda, Barabanki, Badshahnagar, Aishbagh, Kanpur, Virangana Likshmibai, Bhopal, Itarsi, Nagpur, Balaharshah, Macherial and Kazipet stations.

These special trains will consist of AC III Tier and Sleeper Class Coaches.

WOMEN PASSENGERS RESCUED BY RPF PERSONNEL AT PURULIA STATION

Kolkata, 30^th November, 2021:

Two lady passengers who deboarded from the running 22857Santragachi-Anand Vihar Express got unbalanced and tripped o­n the platform at Purulia Station o­n 29^th November, 2021 at about 15:04 hours. Noticing this incident, Sri Bablu Kumar, o­n duty Sub-Inspector of Railway Protection Force of Purulia Post, rushed to the site and rescued them.Thus a mishap has been averted due to constant vigil and alertness of the RPF personnel.

On enquiry, it is revealed that the lady passengers intended to go to Jhalida from Purulia Station but by mistake they boarded 22857Santragachi-Anand Vihar Express instead of 18601 Tatanagar-Hatia Express. o­n realising their mistake, they jumped out from the moving train. Both the women were given first aid immediately and provided with other necessary assistance at the station.

Railway Authority appeals to its travelling passengers to refrain themselves from boarding/deboarding a running train. It can be extremely dangerous and even fatal.
