31 Trains from (GBE)GAYABARI to (MHN)MAHANADI

The Northeast Frontier Railway has decided to operate a new tri-weekly AC passenger train between New Jalpaiguri – Darjeeling – New Jalpaigurisection of Darjeeling Himalayan Railway in both directions.

Train No. 52539 (New Jalpaiguri – Darjeeling) AC passenger train, will depart from New Jalpaiguri at 10:00 hours o­n all Monday, Wednesday & Saturday w.e.f. 26^thSeptember, 2022 to reach Darjeeling at 18:30 hours o­n the same day. Train No. 52538 (Darjeeling – New Jalpaiguri) AC passenger train, will depart from Darjeeling at 09:10 hours o­n all Tuesday, Thursday & Sunday w.e.f. 27^th September, 2022 to reach New Jalpaiguri at 16:35 hours o­n the same day.

During its both way journey the AC passenger train will have stoppages at Siliguri Jn, Sukna, Rongtong, Tindharia, Gayabari, Mahanadi, Kurseong, Tung, Sonada and Ghum stations. It will run with 01 AC vistadome coach consisting of 15 seats and 01 AC restaurant cum power car consisting of 08 seats.

The details of stoppages and timings of this train are available at IRCTC website and are also being notified in various newspapers and social media platforms of N.F. Railway. Passengers are requested to verify the details before undertaking their journey.

CHAIRMAN & CEO, RAILWAY BOARD VISITS ROURKELA IN CHAKRADHARPUR DIVISION

Kolkata 10^th July, 2022

Shri V. K Tripathi, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Railway Board inspected Rourkela station today (10.07.2022) o­n the second day of his two-day visit to Chakradharpur Division of South Eastern Railway. Ms. Archana Joshi, General Manager, South Eastern Railway, and Sri V K Sahu, Divisional Railway Manager, Chakradharpur accompanied Sri Tripathi during the inspection. Sri Tripathi held discussion o­n different passenger amenity measures at Rourkela Station and gave instructions for further development of different facilities available to the passengers. CRB also met with public representatives, other dignitaries and media persons at Rourkela Station.

Earlier, in the morning, Chairman visited Rourkela Steel Plant and interacted with the officials of RSP regarding loading/unloading facilities inside the Steel Plant. At the Rourkela Steel Plant, Sri Tripathi visited Hot Strip Mill and Raw Material Handling Plant. Later, he inspected the Bondamunda Railway Yard and Centre of Excellence at Rourkela.

Yesterday, Shri Tripathi inspected Jharsuguda station premises including different passenger amenity measures, West Cabin Panel Room and Crew & Guard Lobby at Jharsuguda. He also visited Sardega and held a meeting with senior officers of Mahanadi Coal Fields Limited regarding Coal loading.
