AGM/ER INSPECTED KOLKATA, BOLPUR STATIONS Kolkata, February 1, 2023 Dr. Jaideep Gupta, Additional General Manager, Eastern Railway inspected Kolkata station, conducted Window Trailing Inspection from Kolkata to Bolpur & footplate inspection by Vande Bharat Express on 31.01.2023. While inspecting Kolkata station, AGM/ER visited station premises, waiting lounges, International Passenger Terminal, one Station one Product stall, enquired about the cleanliness in & around the Kolkata station and passenger amenities available at the station. Later, he conducted window trailing inspection from Kolkata to Bolpur by 13161 Tebhaga Express. AGM/ER also interacted with Gangmen at Kolkata station. Shri S. P. Singh, DRM/Sealdah & other Divisional officers accompanied AGM/ER in the inspection at Kolkata station. On reaching Bolpur, AGM/ER visited station premises, Rail Museum, Jan Aahar canteen and passenger amenity items provided at Bolpur station. He also visited Photo Gallery at Bolpur. AGM/ER planted saplings near station premises. ADRM/Howrah & other divisional officers of Howrah Division accompanied AGM in the inspection at Bolpur station. Later, he conducted footplate inspection by Vande Bharat Express. He also interacted with the passengers of Vande Bharat Express & took feedback from them. 2

HOWRAH-NEW JALPAIGURI-HOWRAH SHATABDI EXPRESS TO STOP AT BARDDHAMAN STATION •Timings of Howrah – New Jalpaiguri Shatabdi Express & Kolkata – Balurghat Express to be revised Kolkata, December 29, 2022 Railway has decided to provide stoppage of 12042/12041 New Jalpaiguri-Howrah-New Jalpaiguri Shatabdi Express (except Sunday) at Barddhaman station. Due to provision of stoppage at Barddhaman the timings of 12042/12041 New Jalpaiguri-Howrah-New Jalpaiguri Express at some stations will be revised with effect from 30.12.2022. The revised timings (arrival & departure) are as under : ï¬ 12041 Howrah-New Jalpaiguri Shatabdi Express (except Sunday) : Howrah – Dep. 14.25 hrs. Barddhaman – Arr. 15.27 hrs., Dep. 15.29 hrs. Bolpur Shantiniketan – Arr. 16.13 hrs., Dep. 16.15 hrs. New Farakka – Arr. 18.42 hrs., Dep. 18.43 hrs. Malda Town – Arr. 19.30 hrs., Dep. 19.35 hrs. Barsoi – Arr. 20.45 hrs., Dep. 20.46 hrs. Kishanganj – Arr. 21.25 hrs., Dep. 21.27 hrs. New Jalpaiguri – Arr. 22.55 hrs. ï¬ 12042 New Jalpaiguri-Howrah Shatabdi Express (except Sunday) : Barddhaman – Arr. 12.16 hrs., Dep. 12.18 hrs. Howrah – Arr. 13.45 hrs. The timings at all other stations will remain same. Due to above revision of timings, the timings of 13161 Kolkata-Balurghat Express will also be revised with effect from 30.12.2022 as under: New Farakka – Arr. 18.22 hrs., Dep. 18.24 hrs.
