SER TO RUN CHHAT PUJA SPECIAL BETWEEN TATANAGAR AND CHHAPRA
Kolkata 22nd October, 2014:
With a view to clear the extra rush of passengers during Chhat Puja, S. E. Railway has decided to run one pair of Special Train between Tatanagar-Chhapra-Tatanagar.
08181 Tatanagar-Chhapra Special train leaving Tatanagar at 21:15 hours on 25.10.14 will reach Chhapra at 13:15 hours, the next day. In the return direction the Special Train (No.08182) leaving Chhapra at 15:30 hours on 26/10/2014 will arrive Tatanagar at 07:00 hours the next day.
This Special train consisting of 11 coaches (AC2 Tier -1, AC3 Tier-1, Sleeper Class-5, General Second Class-2 & Luggage Van-2) will have stoppages at Chandil, Purulia, Joychandipahar, Asansol, Chittaranjan, Madhupur, Jasidih, Jhajha, Kiul, Barauni, Samastipur, Muzaffarpur and Hajipur stations between Tatanagar and Chhapra.

37TH ALL INDIA RAILWAYS BRIDGE CHAMPIONSHIP UNDER THE AUSPICES OF SERSA INAUGURATED IN KOLKATA

The 37thAll India RailwaysBridge Championship organized by South Eastern Railway Sports Association (SERSA) was inaugurated by Shri G.K. Mohanty, Chief Operations Manager, South Eastern Railway this morning (21.09.2014) at BNR Officersâ€™ Club, S.E.Railway headquarters, Garden Reach.
Shri Monoj Pandey, Chief Personnel Officer & President, SERSA, Smt. Tanuja Thakur Khalko, Dy. FA&CAO and General Secretary, SERSA and other senior Railway Officers were present at the inaugural ceremony. Shri Gora Roy Chowdhury, Director, West Bengal Bridge Association, who will conduct the three-day Bridge Tournament from 21st to 23rd September, 2014 was also present.
Altogether 7 zonal Railways and Workshops across the country and Kolkata Port Trust will take part in the three-day championship. The participating Railways include North East Frontier Railway, Central Railway, Eastern Railway, Metro Railway, Chittaranjan Locomotive Works and South Eastern Railway.
Sandip Datta, Manas Mukherjee, Subir Majumdar of S.E.Railway, Rana Roy, A.N. Banerjee of Eastern Railway, Sumit Mukherjee, D. Majumdar of Metro Railway are the international players who are taking part in this All India Railways Bridge Championship.
