AMENDMENT IN TATKAL SCHEME TIMINGS FOR BOOKING STAGGERED FOR AC AND NON AC CLASSES

                                                                                                                             

At present, the booking under Tatkal scheme opens at 10.00 hrs o­n the previous day of journey from train originating station.

It has been decided that w.e.f. 15.06.2015, timings for booking of Tatkal tickets will be staggered for AC & non-AC classes to 10.00 hours o­nwards and 11.00 hours o­nwards respectively. Accordingly, now the reservation under Tatkal scheme will open at 10.00 hours o­n the previous day of journey from train originating station for AC classes whereas that for non - AC classes, it will start at 11.00 hours o­n the previous day of journey from train originating station.

Moreover, all types of ticketing agents (YTSK, RTSAs, IRCTC agents, etc.) will now be debarred from booking tickets during the first thirty minutes of opening of booking i.e. from 08.00 to 08.30 hours for general bookings and from 10.00 to 10.30 hours & 11.00 to 11.30 hours for Tatkal booking in AC & non-AC classes respectively.

JUMBO BLOCK ON UP & DOWN SLOW LINES BETWEEN BORIVALI AND GOREGAON STATIONS

                                               

          To carry out maintenance work of tracks, signaling & overhead equipments, a major block of five hours will be undertaken between Borivali and Goregaon stations from 10.35 hrs to 15.35 hrs o­n Sunday i.e 14th June, 2015 o­n UP & DOWN Slow lines.

          During the block period, all UP & DOWN Slow line trains will run o­n through (i.e. fast) lines between Borivali and Goregaon stations. Due to the block, some UP & DOWN suburban local trains will remain cancelled.

          During the block period from 10.35 to 15.35 hrs all fast services of Borivali (BVI) – Bhayander (BYR) – Vasai Road (BSR) & Virar (VR) will stop at all stations between Andheri (ADH) & Borivali (BVI) in both the directions including Dahanu Road locals (DRD 93011 & DRD 93010). During the block period trains will be dealt at any of the Platforms,i.e 3/4/5/6/6A at Borivali.

         Detailed information to this effect is available with concerned Station Masters. Passengers are requested to take note of the above arrangements.
