Increase in frequency of train no. 14113/14 Subedarganj-Dehradun Express 

The train connects two Kumbh cities (Prayagraj & Haridwar)

Railway administration is always striving to provide improved facilities to its passengers. In this sequence, It has been decided that the frequency of the main train connecting two famous Kumbh cities train no. 14113/14 Subedarganj-Dehradun Express will be increased.  Earlier this train used to operate 03 days in a week, now it will operate 05 days in a week. This train starts from Subedarganj via Fatehpur, Kanpur Central, Etawah, Tundla Aligarh, Rajghat Narora, Babrala, Bahjoi, Chandausi, Raja Ka Sahaspur, Moradabad, Kanth, Syohara, Dhampur, Nagina, Najibabad, Chandok, Laksar, Haridwar goes to Dehradun. Train no. 14113/14 will have SLR-01, SLR/D-01, General Class-03, Sleeper Class-05, AC III-04, AC I cum II Class-01=15 LHB Coaches. 

The primary maintenance of train no. 14113/14 Subedarganj-Dehradun Express will be done at newly developed pit line at Subedarganj instead of Prayagraj  w.e.f. 05.06.2022 (Sunday).The details of increase in the frequency of the train will be as follows-

Timely Action of RPF Personnel Helps Nab a Culprit

Billoo Chandok, who fled away with jewellery worth Rs. 9.00 lakh

The timely action and a coordinated response of the Railway Protection Force (RPF) Personnel of SCR who acted in quick time o­n the instructions issued by Shri P.K. Srivastava, General Manager, SCR,  led to the nabbing of a fraudster who fled away with gold jewellery worth Rs. 9.00 lakh from Nanded.

Going into the details, on 01.06.2015, the General Manager received a call from the owner of a Jewellery shop (M/s JP Jewellers, Nanded). from Nanded informing that a person has fled away by by Devagiri Express to Secunderabad, with gold jewellery worth Rs. 9.00 lakh. The General Manager immediately spoke to Chief Security Commissioner, SCR and instructed that all out efforts be made to nab the culprit.  Acting swiftly, the Chief Security Commissioner alerted the RPF at Secunderabad. o­n receipt of information, the photographs of the accused were also secured through whatsApp and the Crime Prevention Detection Squad, o­n duty RPF staff, CCTV monitoring staff swung in to action.

            At about 14.55 hrs, when the train arrived at Secunderabad station o­n platform No.10,   the suspect culprit was found proceeding towards platform No.2 to board Hubli Express. Immediately, he was detained and questioned. During the interrogation, the accused admitted that o­n 30.05.2015, he purchased jewelry   worth Rs. 9.00 Lakh from M/s JP  Jewelers,  Nanded by issuing a cheque knowing the fact that there is no sufficient balance in the said account. He showed the jewelry in his possession to the RPF personnel. The culprit was identified as Billoo R. Chandok, R/o 5th Cross, 2nd stage, Srirampura, Mysore, karnataka.

             M/s JP Jewelers lodged complaint with Local Police, Nanded who took up investigation and sent a team to Secunderabad to take custody of the accused and the jewelry.
