Train No. 22601/22602 MGR Chennai Central – Sainagar Shirdi Weekly train These trains will stop at Perambur, Arakkonam Jn, Katpadi Jn, Jolarpettai, Bangarapet, Malur, Krishnarajapurm, Yelhanka Jn, Hindupur, Sathya Sai Prashanthi Nilayam, DharmavaramJn, Anantapur, Guntakaljn, Adoni, Manthralayam Road, Raichur, Wadi, Kalaburagi, Solapur Jn, Daund Jn and Ahmadnagar stations in both directions (Note: Train 22601 will not stop at Perambur) These trins consist of AC II Tier, AC III Tier, Sleeper Class and General second class coaches 2

दकà¥à¤·à¤¿à¤£ पशà¥à¤šà¤¿à¤® रेलवे / SOUTH WESTERN RAILWAY COMMISSIONER OF RAILWAY SAFETY INSPECTS ELECTRIFICATION OF YELAHANKA – DEVANAHALLI – CHIKKABALAPUR & SIVADI -OMALUR SECTIONS Shri A. K. Rai, Commissioner of Railway Safety (CRS), Southern Circle, Bengaluru conducted the statutory inspection and speed trial at full sectional speed of 100 kmph in newly electrified Yelhanka -Devanahalli - Chikballapur section (45 RKM), Bengaluru Division of South Western Railway on 19.03.2022 & that of Sivadi - Omalur section (44.67 RKM, Single line) on 20.3.2022. In the latter section, speed trial at full sectional speed of 80 kmph was carried out, too. The Electrification work in former section was executed by Central Organisation for Railway Electrification while that of the latter was done by Electrification Division of Rail Vikas Nigam Limited. SWR has fast tracked Electrification in order to reduce dependence on fossil fuels and move towards carbon neutrality. Commissioning of electrification in these sections is a step forward in the direction. Shri Sanjeev Kishore stated that the Electrification of the sections mentioned were targeted to be completed by March 2022, and expressed his contentment to be on target. Senior officers of SWR Electrical Department including Principal Chief Electrical Engineer Shri Jaipal Singh and Divisional Railway Manager Bengaluru Shri Shyam Singh were present during these inspections.
