*Electronic Interlocking (EI) commissioned at Baad Station ie 3^rd largest yard of Agra Division*

*New EI with 359 routes to ensure seamless and safe operations o­n the very busy Agra-Delhi route.*

North Central Railway achieved yet another milestone in the leadership of Shri Satish Kumar GM/NCR by commissioning new Electronic Interlocking in connection with Baad passenger yard remodelling and Farah-Baad 3^rd line work o­n 08.03.23. Baad yard is third biggest yard in Agra division. Kyson make Electronic Interlocking has been commissioned at Baad station o­n Agra cantt-Mathura Section of Agra division thus providing 359 routes for better flexibility in train operations. The new interlocking will help in ensuring safe and seamless train operations in the section.

This complex work included 47 Point Machines-47 (36 new and 11 existing), 28 Signals and 41 shut signals. Complete yard track circuiting has also been provided in redundancy with DC track Circuit & MSDAC. 04 Nos. Integrated Power Supply system has been provided for reliable power supply for signalling equipments. In order to strengthen safety preparedness and enhance monitoring 04 number Effectronics make Data logger ( BAD central, A cabin, B cabin, C cabin) has been provided. These dataloggers will be monitored o­nline from control office. 03 Nos. Global make New Electric Operated Lifting Barrier at Level crossing no.-522, 523,524 have also been provided in place of existing overaged barrier .

Earth Leakage Detectors, Fuse alarm system, fire alarm system have been provided at BAAD to ensure safety of signaling equipments and asset reliability.

RUNNING OF SPECIAL EXPRESS TRAIN BETWEEN VASCO-DA-GAMA AND HAZRAT NIZAMUDDIN

South Western Railway has decided to run Special Express trains o­n demand between Vasco-Da-Gama and Hazrat Nizamuddin for o­ne trip in each direction to clear the extra of passengers during the festivals, as detailed below:

  Train No. 07307 Vasco-Da-Gama – Hazrat Nizamuddin Express Special will leave Vasco-Da-Gama at 6 PM o­n March 11, 2023 and reach Hazrat Nizamuddin at 11:20 AM o­n March 13, 2023.

  In the return direction, Train No. 07308 will depart from Hazrat Nizamuddin at 3:45 PM o­n March 14, 2023, and reach Vasco-Da-Gama at 8:05 AM o­n March 16, 2023.

  The special train will have stoppages at Madgaon, Sanvordem, Kulem, Castle Rock, Londa, Belagavi, Miraj, Satara, Pune, Lonavala, Kalyan, Vasai Road, Vapi, Surat, Vadodara, Ratlam, Kota, Sawai Madhopur, Gangapur City and Mathura stations in both directions.

  There will be 19 coaches o­n this train, including o­ne AC two-tier and o­ne AC three-tier, eight sleeper class coaches, seven general second-class coaches and two second-class luggage cum brake vans/disabled-friendly compartment.

Note: Passengers travelling o­n this train should note that linen will not be provided in the AC coaches, carry their own bed sheets and blankets for a comfortable journey.
