Diversion of Train Service


In view of Traffic blocks for removal of girders between Vriddhachalam – Talanallur section, the following train will run via diverted route

Train No.16127 Chennai Egmore – Guruvayur Express leaving Chennai Egmore at 09.00 hrs o­n 07th September, 2022 will be diverted to run via Villupuram, Mayiladuturai and Thanjavur duly skipping stoppages at Vriddhachalam, Pennadam, Ariyalur and Srirangam. For the convenience of passengers additional stoppages will be provided at Tiruppadirippuliyur, Chidambaram, Mayiladuturai and Thanjavur.

Diversion of train services


Due to Line block for removal of temporary girder and insertion of boxes for Limited Use subway work at Level Crossing No.211 between Kallagam and Kallakkudi Palanganatham stations o­n 07th and 08th June, 2022 the following train services are diverted as detailed below.

ØTrain No. 16128 Guruvayur – Chennai Egmore Express scheduled to leave Guruvayur at 23.20 hrs o­n 07th June, 2022 will be diverted to run via main line duly skipping stoppages at Srirangam, Ariyalur, Pennadam and Vriddhachalam.

ØTrain No. 16127 Chennai Egmore – Guruvayur Express scheduled to leave Chennai Egmore at 09.00 hrs o­n 08th June, 2022 will be diverted to run via main line duly skipping stoppages at Vriddhachalam, Pennadam, Ariyalur and Srirangam.
