Kolkata, April 21, 2023 RPF of Eastern Railway continuing their endeavour to ensure security of passengers at Railway premises with special emphasis to protective shield for women and children. 1.On 18.04.2023, under ‘Operation Aaht’, officials of RPF Out Post/Khaltipur rescued 04 minor girls all of Jharkhand along with 02 male persons at Khaltipur Railway Station who were taking the rescued girls from their homes by paying money to their parents. Accordingly, all 04 rescued minor girls were handed over to Child Line/Malda under due documentation for further disposal and both the traffickers were handed over to GRPS/Malda. 2.On 20.04.2023, under ‘Operation Narco’, officials of RPF Out Post/Khaltipur & CIB/Malda recovered 05 unclaimed plastic bags containing 975 bottles of Phensedyl Cough Linctus valued Rs. 2,00,177.25/- from 03767 UP Sahibganj-Malda passenger at Jamirghata Railway Station and was handed over to Excise Department/Samsherganj for further disposal. 3.In addition to, on 20.04.2023, under ‘Operation Amanat’, officials of RPF Post/Bally retrieved a left behind bag containing Laptop total valued Rs 25000/- from Bally Railway Station and was handed over to its owner after proper verification & documentation. 2

REGULATION OF TRAINS FOR BRIDGE MAINTENANCE WORK IN EAST CENTRAL RAILWAY Kolkata, May 10, 2022: For maintenance of bridge no 1 in between Samastipur & Muktapur stations, 06.00 hours (09:45 hrs. to 14.45 hrs.) Traffic & Power block has been planned on 14.05.2022 (Saturday) & 17.05.2022 (Tuesday). Consequently, 13043 Howrah - Raxaul Express (Journey Commencing on 13.05.2022) & 17005 Hyderabad Decan - Raxaul Express (Journey Commencing on 12.05.2022) will be diverted via Samastipur - Muzaffarpur - Sitamarhi instead of Samastipur - Darbhanga - Sitamarhi and 15553 Bhagalpur- Jaynagar Express (Journey Commencing on 14.05.2022) will be rescheduled by 120 minutes from Bhagalpur. Inconvenience caused to the passengers is deeply regretted.
