EXTENSION OF TRAINS South Western Railway has decided to extend the Train No. 01763/01764 KSR Bengaluru – Ramanagaram – KSR Bengaluru Unreserved MEMU Express Special up to Channapatna with effect commencing journey from both sides from 22.09.2022. Accordingly, Train No. 01763 KSR Bengaluru – Channapatna Unreserved MEMU Express Special will depart KSR Bengaluru at 04:45 hrs and arrive Channapatna at 05:52 hrs the same day. Enroute this train will arrive/depart Krishnadevaraya Halt - 04:53/04:54 hrs, Nayandahalli- 05:00/05:01 hrs, Jnana Bharati – 05:03/05:04 hrs, Kengeri- 05:09/05:10 hrs, Hejjala- 05:19/05:20 hrs, Bidadi- 05:25/05:26 hrs, Ketohalli- 05:33/05:34 hrs and Ramanagaram – 05:39/05:40 hrs the same day. In the return direction Train No. 01764 Channapatna - KSR Bengaluru Unreserved MEMU Express Special will depart from Channapatna at 06:00 hrs and arrive KSR Bengaluru at 07:15 hrs instead of 08:15 hrs. Enroute this train will arrive/depart Ramanagaram- 06:10/06:11 hrs, Ketohalli- 06:16/06:17 hrs, Bidadi- 06:22/06:23 hrs, Hejjala- 06:32/06:33 hrs, Kengeri- 06:44/06:45 hrs, Jnana Bharati - 06:50/06:51 hrs, Nayandahalli- 06:53/06:54 hrs and Krishnadevaraya Halt - 07:00/07:01 hrs. II. CANCELLATION OF TRAINS The following trains will be cancelled as per detailed mentioned below: - 1.Train No. 06523 Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal – KSR Bengaluru Unreserved MEMU Express Special will be cancelled with effect from 22.09.2022.

REVISION IN TIMINGS OF TRAIN Timings of Train No. 01772 Marikuppam – KSR Bengaluru MEMU Special will be revised as under: - Train No. 01772 Marikuppam – KSR Bengaluru MEMU Special will depart from Marikuppam at 04:45 hrs and arrive KSR Bengaluru at 06:55 hrs instead of 07:20 hrs with effect commencing journey from Marikuppam from 22.09.2022. Enroute this train will arrive/depart Champion – 04:49/04:50 hrs, Oorgaum – 04:53/04:54 hrs, Coromandel – 04:58/04:59 hrs, BEML Nagar – 05:03/05:04 hrs, Chinnakote – 05:08/05:09 hrs, Bangarapet – 05:18/05:20 hrs, Tykal - 05:31/05:32 hrs, Malur – 05:43/05:44 hrs, Whitefield – 05:57/05:58 hrs, Krishnarajapuram – 06:10/06:11 hrs, Sir M Visvesvaraya Terminal - 06:16/06:17 hrs, Bengaluru East – 06:22/06:23 hrs and Bengaluru Cant - 06:29/06:30 hrs. REGULATION OF TRAINS The following trains will be regulated due to Line and Power Block between Somanayakkanpatti and Jolarpettai Section for removal of temporary girder for LC – 91 ROB work as per detailed below: - 1.Train No. 16526 KSR Bengaluru – Kanniyakumari Express commencing journey from KSR Bengaluru on 21.09.2022 & 23.09.2022 will be regulated for 60 minutes at Somanayakkanpatti. 2.Train No. 16526 KSR Bengaluru – Kanniyakumari Express commencing journey from KSR Bengaluru on 22.09.2022 will be regulated for 85 minutes at Somanayakkanpatti. 3.Train No. 16219 Chamarajanagar – Tirupati Express commencing journey from Chamarajanagar on 21.09.2022 & 23.09.2022 will be regulated for 30 minutes at Patchur. 4.Train No. 16219 Chamarajanagar – Tirupati Express commencing journey from Chamarajanagar on 22.09.2022 will be regulated for 40 minutes at Patchur.

दकà¥à¤·à¤¿à¤£ पशà¥à¤šà¤¿à¤® रेलवे/ SOUTH WESTERN RAILWAY पà¥à¤°à¥‡à¤¸ विजà¥à¤žà¤ªà¥à¤¤à¤¿/ Press Release No. 396 Dt: 26.02.2021 BENGALURU DIVISION SETS TO RESTORE 4 HERITAGE STATIONS • Bengaluru Division plans to restore and preserve Railway Heritage Structures. • Heritage structures oÂn Chikballapur – Kolar Railway Line to be restored and preserved in the first phase. • The railway stations in Rajanukunte, Oorgaum, Champion and Chintamani will be developed as heritage railway Stations.in the second phase. • MoU Signed with INTACH for restoration and preservation of Doddajala, Devenahalli, Nandihalt and Avathihalli Stations. • Creation of additional amenities for restored and preserved heritage structures is part of MoU • first initiative in South Western Railway where restoration project is being taken up under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Bengaluru Division of South Western Railway has chalked out plans to rejuvenate its station buildings under the directions of Shri AK Singh , General Manager, South Western Railway and Shri PK Mishra , Additional Railway Manager . In the first phase, 4 Old station buildings oÂn KSR Bengaluru- Chikballapur-Kolar Railway line,Devanahalli, Doddajala, Avathihalli and Nandi Halt will be restored and preserved in the initiative that will enhance their heritage value . In the second phase, the railway stations in Rajanukunte, Oorgaum, Champion and Chintamani are planned to be developed as heritage railway Stations. As a first step towards this initiative, Smt. Kusuma Hariprasad, Additional Divisional Railway Manager (Administration) Signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with INTACH (Indian National Trust for Art & Cultural Heritage) yesterday (25.02.2021) in presence of Shri Ashok Kumar Verma. INTACH is a non-profit organization which works for preservation of heritages sites in the country. It is associated with Archeological Survey of India. The MoU seeks to Restore and Preserve Heritage Railway Stations at Doddajala, Devanahalli, Avatihalli and Nandi Halt based oÂn different themes related to history and heritage. This is oÂne of the region's oldest Railway line. These buildings are quaint examples of colonial style architecture located in picturesque, stretch . The line, in Meter gauge became operational in August 1915. The works stipulated in MoU will be undertaken in two stages. In the first stage, INTACH will undertake the renovation, restoration and preservation of the Station buildings in consultation with Railways and identify the partners under CSR for funding the initiative. In the second stage, ways and means of sustainable maintenance of preserved and restored buildings will be developed by creating additional amenities at the Stations and surroundings. An Art Centre-cum-Cultural Centre-cum Conventional Centre will be developed at Doddajala. Interpretation Centre for monuments and History, Café or Snack counter will be set up at Devenahalli. A Silk Museum and Resource Centre along with a Park, with appropriate tree planting and landscaping will be made at Avathihalli, A Rail Museum, Café, Restaurant, Cultural performance Centre, Pop-up weekend crafts Markets, Interpretation Centre, Open Air Theater and Amphitheater will be provided at Nandi Halt Station. This is the first initiative in South Western Railway where restoration project is being taken up under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Shri Ashok Kumar Verma, Divisional Railway Manager Bengaluru informed that the main objectives of the MoU are renovation, restoration and preservation of the old existing Heritage rich railway structures at these four Railway stations, in such a way to showcase the cultural and monumental Heritage besides developing / providing the infrastructure in and around the four heritage station sites to boost tourism . He opined that the above stations are likely to attract large number of tourists after restoration work South Western Railway in last oÂne year has achieved historical milestones by opening Railway Museum , Hubballi, redeveloping Mysuru Railway , museum etc. If any firms, companies or individuals come forward to take up works in Railways under Corporate Social Responsibility, Railway is ready to extend full support and facilitate new projects.
