Weekly Special Trains between Mumbai – Solpaur and Solapur-Nagpur/Tirupati

Railways have decided to run weekly special trains between Mumbai and Solapur, Solapur and Nagpur & Solapur and Tirupati o­n special charges to clear the extra rush of passengers during festival period as per details given below:

Mumbai - Solapur Weekly Special (via Panvel, Latur, Bidar)
Train No. 01436 special will leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 12.50 hrs every Wednesday from 14.12.2022 to 15.02.2023 and will arrive Solapur at 09.15 hrs next day
Train No. 01435 special will leave Solapur at 09.20 hrs every Tuesday from 13.12.2022 to 14.02.2023 and will arrive Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 03.45 hrs next day

Halts- Thane, Panvel, Pune, Daund, Kurduwadi, Barsi Town, Osmanabad, Latur, Latur Road, Bidar, Taj Sultanpur, Kalaburagi Jn, Ganagapur Road and Akkalkot Road

Solapur - Nagpur Weekly Superfast Special

Train No. 01433 special will leave Solapur at 20.20 hrs every Sunday from 11.12.2022 to 12.02.2023 and will arrive Nagpur at 13.05 hrs next day.
Train No. 01434 special will leave Nagpur at 15.15 hrs every Monday from 12.12.2022 to 13.02.2023 and will arrive Solapur at 08.40 hrs next day.

Train No. 01438 special will leave Tirupati at 21.10 hrs every Friday from 16.12.2022 to 17.02.2023 and will arrive Solapur at 19.10 hrs next day.

- Annual inspection between Gooty – Kadapa - Renigunta Section

Shri Arun Kumar Jain, General Manager, South Central Railway undertook Annual Inspection of Gooty – Renigunta section of Guntakal Division today i.e., 29th November, 2022. He was accompanied by Sri Venkata Ramana Reddy, Divisional Railway Manager, Guntakal Division and other senior officials were also accompanied throughout the inspection.

The General Manager inaugurated Sewage Treatment Plant at Gooty Railway Station, reviewed capacity enhancement works of Gooty By-pass line. The General Manager inspected Level Crossing Gate between Gooty –Juturu stations where he examined safety aspects and interacted with the Gateman. He inspected Traction Sub Station and inaugurated solar pump at Level Crossing Gate. He also inspected Road under Bridge and Major Bridge between Juturu – Komali stations. Later, he inspected Tadipatri station, reviewed various passenger amenities, inspected Station Manager’s office, booking office, circulating area and railway colony. He also inspected Kondapuram railway station and watering points at station platforms. Later, he conducted a speed test between Kondapuram – Muddanuru – Yerraguntla sections.

Shri Arun Kumar Jain visited Yerraguntla Railway Station, reviewed various passenger amenities, and inspected Station Manager’s office, booking office, circulating area and also interacted with public representatives and organized unions. He inaugurated Park, RPF barracks, new Running Room building, 30KWp solar plant near the station premises. The General Manager declared Yerraguntla railway station as ‘NET ZERO’ energy station. Later, he inspected Minor Bridge & Points between Yerraguntla – Kadapa stations.

The General Manager visited Kadapa Railway Station, reviewed various passenger amenities and inspected booking office, circulating area. He inspected Health Unit and inaugurated ‘Miyawaki Model Park’ at Kadapa Railway Station. He also inaugurated New Gym in Railway Institute, Kadapa. Later, Shri A.K.Jain conducted a speed test between Pullampet – Anantarajupet stations to examine the increase of sectional speed capacity to run trains with enhanced speed in the section. He also inspected Level Crossing Gate between Anantarajupet – Koduru stations. Then, the General Manager inspected Koduru station and Goods Shed.
