Central Railway Press Release Additional Bi-weekly Superfast Special trains between Mumbai-Pratapgarh and Change of Terminal of LTT-Hubballi Festival special to Dadar Railways will run additional superfast special trains between Lokmanya Tilak Terminus -Pratapgarh to clear the extra rush of passengers as per details given below: 01073 Bi-weekly superfast special will leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus every Tuesday and Sunday at 16.25 hrs with effect from 31.1.2021 until further advice and arrive Pratapgarh at 19.35 hrs next day. 01074 Bi-weekly superfast special will leave Pratapgarh every Thursday and Tuesday at 01.50 hrs with effect from 2.2.2021 until further advice and arrive Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 05.30 hrs next day. Halts: Thane, Kalyan, Nasik Road, Bhusaval, Bhopal, Jhansi, Orai, Kanpur Central, Lucknow, Rae Bareli and Amethi Composition: one AC-2 Tier, Four AC-3 Tier, 12 Sleeper Class and 3 second class seating. Terminal Change 07318 will now depart Dadar (instead of LTT) at 20.25 hrs with effect from 1.2.2021 to 1.4.2021 and reach Hubballi at 11.35 hrs next day. 07317 will now depart Hubballi at 15.30 hrs with effect from 31.1.2021 to 31.3.2021and reach Dadar (instead of LTT) at 07.00 hrs next day. North Central Railway Headquarter Public Relations Prayagraj No. 11PR/01/2021 Press ReleaseDate: 13.01.2021 Hon’ble MR Shri Piyush Goyal Reviewed performance of NCR and other Zonal Railways and PUs Safety, Punctuality, freight loading, revenue, expenditure control, key infrastructure projects, HR management and efficiency enhancement measures reviewed Hon’ble MR Shri Piyush Goyal with Shri Suneet Shrama, CRB and CEO Railway Board and other Members of Railway Boards reviewed performance of Zonal Railways and Production Units in Safety, Punctuality, freight loading, revenue, expenditure control, key infrastructure projects, HR management and efficiency enhancement etc. General Manger North Central and North Eastern Railway Shri Vinay Kumar Tripathi, AGM NCR Shri Ranjan Yadav, PHODs of NCR and DRMs from Prayagraj, Jhansi and Agra division participated in this review meeting held through video conferencing. At the outset, CRB & CEO Shri Suneet Sharma said that safety is our first and foremost concern and we have to remained focused to safety in train operations. He specially discussed about the proper implementation of cold weather precautions and all due care should be ensured. He also discussed about elimination of manned level crossings and said if ROB/RUB has been constructed then closure of LC must be done expeditiously.He congratulated zonal railways for improved freight loading performance in December-2020 and impressed upon zones and divisions to keep this momentum going in the last quarter of current financial year. He laid special emphasis on Removal of Permanent Speed Restrictions (PSRs) and also relaxing PSRs. He also emphasized on electrification of sidings and yard so as to streamline shunting movements. He impressed upon the implementation of speed raising works on Golden quadrilateral and Golden Diagonal routes and said these works should be speeded up. He also discussed about the speeding up of other routes to 130 KMPH. He also discussed about punctuality in train operations and advised that capturing of data should be automatic by integrating Datalogger with COA. While discussing about the human resource, Shri Sharma said this is the most important asset and employees motivation should be of utmost importance to us. All the files related to staff matters should be dealt as if those our own files and he also appreciated efforts of Railways in implementation of various modules of HRMS. While addressing the meeting Hon’ble MR Shri Piyush Goyal greeted everybody for the ensuing festivals of Lohri/Makar Sanranti,/Onam/Pongal. Shri Goyal praised the loading performance of previousquarter and asked to continue the performance in last quarter of financial year as well. He said we are a vibrant organisation and our deeds should send positive message to the nation. He specially applauded the 6 zones including North Central Railway for surpassing the last year loading performance by 6.5%. He also congratulated the 37 divisions who have crossed the last year loading. He emphasized upon not only increasing the revenue but also controlling the operating expenses. On the front of freight loading, North Central Railway has achieved many important milestones in December-2020. During the month, originating freight loading of has been ever best in a month i.e. 16.6 lakh tonnes and so far, total 118.2 Lakhs tonnes freight has been loaded in current financial year.With positive loading performance even duringCovid crisis, NCR has surpassed last year loading of 112 Lakhs tonnes freight loaded till December . NCR has substantially improved its food grain loading by more than 82% in comparison to last year, thus not only ensuring the supply of essential items but also supporting in agriculture sector.
