1 Trains from (HYB)HYDERABAD DECAN to (NLL)Nalli

WR’s JUMBO BLOCK BETWEEN
ANDHERI AND GOREGAON STATIONS o­n 18^th JUNE, 2023

To carry out maintenance work of tracks, signalling and overhead equipment, a Jumbo Block of five hours will be taken o­n UP and DOWN slow lines between Andheri and Goregaon stations from 10.35 hrs to 15.35 hrs o­n Sunday, 18^th June, 2023.

According to a press release issued by Shri Sumit Thakur – Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, during the block period, all UP & DOWN slow line services will be operated o­n Fast lines between Andheri and Goregaon stations. Hence, these trains will not avail halt at Ram Mandir station for want of platform. Some suburban trains will remain cancelled during the block and also some of the Borivali trains will be worked upto Goregaon.

Shri Arun Kumar Jain, General Manager, South Central Railway undertook inspection of Secunderabad – Vikarabad section of Secunderabad Division today i.e.,
07^th June, 2023. He was accompanied by Shri A.K Gupta, Divisional Railway Manager, Secunderabad Division and other officials throughout the inspection.

Shri Arun Kumar Jain conducted a detailed inspection by locomotive from Secunderabad to Vikarabad. He conducted a thorough examination of the safety aspects of tracks and signalling systems. He also examined the safety procedures being followed by the loco pilots, functioning of speedometer, speedograph, brakes etc.,

Later, the General Manager inspected Vikarabad Railway station wherein he reviewed the passenger amenities and facilities available at the station including booking office, Passenger Reservation Systems, waiting hall, toilets and Foot Over Bridge etc. He also inspected the relay room and ‘A Cabin’ at the station and examined the entries.

Shri Arun Kumar Jain inspected the station masters office, running room, and circulating area at Vikarabad Railway station. The General Manager interacted with the staff and discussed o­n further developmental plans with the officials.
