Shri Arun Kumar Jain, General Manager (In-charge), SCR undertook a comprehensive inspection of oÂngoing infrastructural developmental works between Guntakal – Nalwar Section of Guntakal Division today i.e., 28th April, 2022. He was accompanied by Shri Arun Kumar Jain conducted Rear Window Inspection commencing from Guntakal to Adoni and later upto Nalwar section to check track maintenance and safety aspects. At Adoni Railway Station the General Manager inspected various passenger amenities, food stalls, circulating area and had a discussion with officials oÂn further development of facilities. Later, he visited the goods shed at Adoni, wherein he examined the freight loading facilities. The General Manager proceeded oÂnto Raichur, where he examined loading facilities at Goods Shed, facilities available for Hamalis rest room etc., he inspected and reviewed various amenities including ticket booking counters, station masters office and circulating area at Raichur railway station. During the course of inspection passenger association members and employees trade union association members met General Manager, SCR during the inspection of Raichur railway station. Shri Arun Kumar Jain inspected Yermaras railway station and held meeting with representatives of Karnataka Power Corporation Limited. He also inspected Goods Sheds and various passenger amenities at Krishna Railway station and discussed with officials oÂn further improvements to Goods Sheds and loading facilities. oÂn conclusion, the General Manager inspected the passenger amenities provided at Yadgir railway station and also inspected Goods Sheds and enquired with the officials about the loading facilities provided. 2

Shri Gajanan Mallya, General Manager, South Central Railway undertook Inspection of Chittapur - Raichur section on Guntakal Division today i.e., 21st September, 2021. He was accompanied by Shri Venkatramana Reddy, Divisional Railway Manager, Guntakal Division and other senior officials throughout the inspection. Shri Gajanan Mallya commenced the inspection at Yadagiri Railway station. He inspected the entire station premises, circulating area and reviewed the passenger amenities available at station and discussed on various developmental plans with officials during inspection. He also inspected Goods Shed & held a meeting with freight customers and discussed on various action plans for further development and to ease the freight loading. He inspected proposed 2nd goods line and discussed with officials to improve further freight loading and unloading. He also inspected Station Manager's office and station premises at Lingeri station between Yadgir - Raichur section and he inspected a proposed alternative Good Shed and Train Examination point on safety aspect. The General Manager inspected Station Manager's office and other passenger amenities at Yermaras station. He inspected proposed alternative goods shed at Yermaras Station and discussed with officials on improvement of new freight traffic. He also held a meeting with officials of Yermarus Thermal Power Station (YTPS) and ARV Cement Society & ACC Ltd (ARVY) and discussed about the loading/unloading plans at Yermaras Railway Station. Later, Shri Gajanan Mallya under took a detailed inspection of Raichur Station. He inspected platforms, Foot Over Bridge and interacted with the staff on welfare etc. He also inspected Goods Shed and interacted with traders, customers and discussed on freight initiatives and improvements to Goods Shed to enhance the goods loading. Shri Gajanan Mallya inspected Health Unit, Raichur and inspected all the medical facilities available and interacted with medical staff and officials on further improvement. At the conclusion of the inspection, the General Manager conducted a detailed inspection of Adoni Goods Shed and held a meeting with traders. During the course of inspection, the General Manager received representations regarding development of station from various public representatives.
