Owais, Principal Chief Commercial Manager, South Eastern Railway felicitated and presented appreciation certificates to 79 staff of Commercial Department for their praiseworthy work done at a function held at South Eastern Railway Headquarters, Garden Reach on 06.02.2023. Out of these 79 staff, 53 Ticket Checking staff were felicitated for exemplary service for rescue of children, return of left behind/lost passenger luggage, providing assistance to sick passengers, arrest of tout/criminal elements etc. The other 26 staff were felicitated for earning the highest ticket checking revenue between April, 2022 to December, 2022. The highest earners from the April 2022 to December 2022 were Sri Piyush Kumar, Ticket Examiner, Ranchi, Sri Pintu Das, Special Ticket Checking Staff, Ramrajatala and Smt Savitri Shaw, Train Ticket Inspector, Howrah. Sri Manoj Kumar Chief Commercial Manager (Passenger Marketing) welcomed the staff who walked the extra mile in providing exemplary service. Apart from doing their scheduled duties, they had gone all out to engage themselves to deliver impressive and credible public service. He also thanked all the staff for their contribution. SER has already achieved ticket checking revenue to the tune of Rs 90.28 Crores up to the month of January, 2023. The Ticket checking revenue is projected to surpass Rs. 100 crores for 2022-23, which will be a milestone achievement. …….. 2

दकà¥à¤·à¤¿à¤£à¤ªà¥‚रà¥à¤µà¤°à¥‡à¤²à¤µà¥‡ SOUTH EASTERN RAILWAY पà¥à¤°à¥‡à¤¸à¤µà¤¿à¤œà¥à¤žà¤ªà¥à¤¤à¤¿ PRESS RELEASE BHARAT BANDH AFFECTS SER TRAIN SERVICES Kolkata, 8th December, 2020: The train services of South Eastern Railway have been partially affected today (08.12.2020) due to Rail Roko by some political parties in support of Bharat Bandh. Agitations over SER have been staged at various locations viz. between Chengail and Bauria, between Uluberia and Bir Shibpur, at Ramrajatala between Tikiapara and Santragachi of Kharagpur Division, between Jhinkpani and Talaburu of Chakradharpur Division and Bokaro Steel City Station of Adra Division etc. In some places, the agitators blocked the running line much before the schedule of their programme. As a result, 4 special Express trains and 32 EMU Locals have suffered detention enroute short while. 2 pairs of suburban local trains have been cancelled in Kharagpur Division. Presently, Howrah-Kharagpur section and other sections of South Eastern Railway are obstruction free. …….. |
