CHANGES IN THE PATTERN OF TRAIN SERVICES


East Coast Railway has advised the following changes in the pattern of train services due cyclone ‘Jawad’.

Diversion of train services

§Train No. 22612 New Jalpaiguri – Dr. MGR Chennai Central Weekly Superfast Express that left       New Jalpaiguri at 21.15 hrs o­n 03rd December, 2021 is diverted to run via Hijli, Tatanagar, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur and Vizianagaram


§ Train No. 15630 Silghat Town – Tambaram Weekly Nagaon Express that left Silghat Town at   10.05 hrs hrs o­n 03rd December, 2021 id diverted to run via Tatanagar,  Jharsuguda, Sambalpur,   Titlagarh and Vizianagaram

Shri Gajanan Mallya, General Manager, SCR Inspects Manmad - Parbhani Section



Shri Gajanan Mallya, General Manager, South Central Railway undertook Inspection of Manmad – Parbhani section today i.e., 12th October, 2021. He was accompanied by Shri Upinder Singh, Divisional Railway Manager, Nanded Division and other senior officials throughout the inspection.

The General Manager commenced the inspection at Manmad. He reviewed the facilities available at the Running Room and interacted with the staff. He inaugurated the Ladies crew room and digitisation of sign-on and sign-off register for running staff at Manmad Railway Station. Later he inspected the Relay Room, Train Ticket Examiners Rest House and discussed o­n further developmental plans with the officials.

At Nagarsol, Shri Gajanan Mallya conducted a detailed inspection of the Goods Siding and discussed o­n the overall improvement of facilities at the siding including enhancement of siding work. He held a meeting with o­nion traders and freight customers and discussed o­n issues pertaining to freight loading and suggestions for further improving loading from the station.

At Rotegaon Railway Station, he inspected passenger amenities, station manager's office, circulating area and goods siding. The General Manager reviewed the freight operations at CONCOR Siding, Daulatabad and discussed o­n further developmental plans with the officials. The General Manager then proceeded o­n to Aurangabad Railway station, where he inspected the station premises and inaugurated the electronic in-motion weighbridge. He visited the goods shed and goods siding at Aurangabad and reviewed the available facilities. He also inspected Chikalthan, Karmad and Dinagaon Railway stations.

Later, Shri Gajanan Mallya inspected Jalna Railway station. He examined the station premises and also reviewed the facilities available at the goods shed. He also inspected the Health Unit and interacted with the Doctors and staff. During the course of inspection, the General Manager interacted with the media and briefed them o­n plans for improvement of Rail facilities. Several public representatives also met the General Manager and discussed o­n Rail developmental plans pertaining to their region.
